sprinkles splatter on
tight clad legs in december,
and it should be snow, but
the clouds are thinking
of committing suicide
and haven't got anything
to spill but tears
i'm smoking bowl after
bowl, trying to ease a mind
full of manic mutations
and masterfully marred
optimism
geminis have a strange
way of guessing the words
that will slip out of lips
of ones like themselves,
and tonight i've found a
human who entered this
world just a week
before me
it's almost like a secret club,
but the secrecy is terrifying
in an electric way, and i'm
plugged into an outlet
ready to be fried as i

dismay is felt when opening the newspaper
to read Athena's astral charts
on many occasions her predictions are well out
which tend to make the readers doubt
to-day she stated that all Geminis
were in for an adventure
but she failed to also mention
the possibility of a misadventure
Taurus individuals supposedly
are going to win a truck load of cash
they'll be disappointed
should they not collect a stash
she said all Virgos
would be bidding their time
but how would she know
as few of them can march to a rhyme
this pronouncement she had written large
which told of a Capricorn who'd fly to Mars
yet this person hasn't got a rocket
which can propel him to Mars
here was one that reeled me in
she spoke of a Pisces eating a dog
her info was well out of kilter
we all know that all fishes prefer a frog
Athena was glowing in her outlook
for those Cancer folk saying they'd find a bloke
though none of them are in the market
for finding a bloke
she put in a good line for Scorpios
to be careful whilst using the hose

Must deal with the hardest battles life has to face
We're so kind and generous yet it leads our hearts to pain and tears
Then when we look for ones we've helped no one is near
For we to be the sign of twins
Bi-polar and weirdness is where it begins
We have split personalities which means
We can be your greatest friends
Or worst enemies

Why must we always be hurt
Because others take advantage of our kindness and leave us in dirt

Geminis are supposedly devious, superficial and devicing in relationships
But I won't crash this ship
I don't care about putting on a show
Just so you know
I won't decieve you
I won't sneak around your feelings
That's not who I am.
I once liked the same girl for three years
And I'm two faced like the experts say i am
I don't stab people in the back
I don't intend to lie to people
I do have flaws and I'm not perfect and never will be
But darling, you will be okay with me
I'm not going to cheat
I'm not going to use you
I'm not going to lie to you without remorse
Because sometimes I battle myself on that
But at least I have identified the problem
I will try to improve
And try to prove
My passion for you.
Despite the negatives, there are also positives
Geminis are great at satisfying their partner and like to try new things

Near two decades since they arrived
The two geminis that would change the world
Fumblestumbletumble to teenage dream (phone screens are like stars in the night)
Two sets of eyes long for the landscape beyond the foggy window they share
They are specters like all teenagers
Shadows floating down hallways with the echoes of laughs left behind
But magic lies in those lilting giggles
As if to mock Plato himself for ever dreaming of the shadows (and the caves and)
Heads tilt as eyes gleam
Hair puffed with the tempest of their heredity and half-remembered fears
(Assuming fears can be so)
Shakes with the head as the laughter begins
Self aware at the kabuki theater
While in the vibrations of the beat to their dance
The poet's heart throbs and the champion's digs into the ground
Roots to dig and battles to win
Love (they say it's all you need but) in each wrist-flick and hug
Defiant in its drive (to what end)
The air is warm inside when we sit on a couch
Unaskable questions flying like the teenage dreams
And even though the wind blowing freezes
Sometimes the only warmth to thaw the skin comes from a loosened tongue
Or a smile with the unfindable answers shining on each tooth

i am carrying two stomachs
two hearts
and two minds to control it all
perhaps my mother was right.
perhaps theres a **** good gemini
ripping all my organs into pairs.
i feel a raging world within
the confines of my burnt skin,
split into two:
one suppressed and raw
one orderly and profited
i make bank, i solicit myself on my own
put togetherness
and sometimes, i want to delve deeply
and watch as everything collapses around
the sturdy bones that hold it all up
and the facade slowly melts around
