The lumad in her doesn't go away,
The map's of time; written
Upon her face. O' the
Stories, of her kin dost speak; an empress
Of the Subanon, she is strong, I weak.

Tis she's sedulous, in her way's of hard
Work, knowledge do I gain, she guideth
Me in the rain; she dryeth mine tear's,
With her malong of royal worth.

Tis God's known her from her birth,
He picked her from the Mindanao Sea;
Verily, verily she's a sacred one,
Every breath she breathes is turquoise green.

And when she takes her daily breath,
Psalm's compose inside her chest, inside
Her chest where her heart doth beat;
Beat's of holiness, in whitened sheets.

Wild child of unknown path's, mine
Guide, mine friend, soulmate of the past;
Lover now, as wilt alway's be, do I learn,
So much I've yearned, from God's eastern breeze.

O' tis she's free, she's just like me,
As I am her; O' I am her; she call's
Me pookie, she's mine mi amour,
Mine Reyna, girl, Jehovah's daughter.

Jane where she comes from in Misamis Occidental in Philippines is this- where lumad comes in - Brief History
The province was previously called Misamis. It was originally peopled by indigenous people called Lumads, in which the Subanon tribe was dominant. Circa 1700s, Misamis was threatened by marauding pirates from nearby Lanao.
The pirates used to abduct 500 Filipinos a year to sell as slaves to the Dutch’s United East India Company in Java, or to the Portuguese in Jakarta. Northern Mindanao was hardest hit, particularly Misamis.
To evade the pirates, many Subanons migrated to Misamis Oriental and Zamboanga del Norte, particularly Dapitan.
In 1756, Father Ducos built the Fort Santiago Ozamis to defend against the pirates. He named it ‘El Fuerte De Nuestra Señora Del La Concecion Del Triunfo’ (Our Lady of Triumph) in honor of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception. He also created a naval armada he himself commanded.
In 1929, Misamis Occidental was founded following the division of Misamis into two… the other half is Misamis Oriental.
In World War II, the province was briefly occupied by the Japanese invaders. It was liberated in 1945.
Finally, peace embraced the province.
Its capital is Oroquieta City which also seats the Provincial Capitol.The history of the Philippines from 1521 to 1898, also known as the Spanish Colonial Era, begins with the arrival in 1521 of European explorer Ferdinand Magellan sailing for Spain, which heralded the period when the Philippines was a colony of the Spanish Empire, and ends with the outbreak of the Spanish–American War in 1898, which marked the beginning of the American Colonial Era of Philippine history. Many don't know as it happened in usa the Europeans and Spanish invaded not just America as its called now and stole the land of the Original native peoples here and killed ( slaughtered, brought disease to this Land,) and displaced the natives already here on small plots of land where at one time this whole land they roamed free, as well as all natives here their materials and lands goods like gold sacred mountains spiritual places were taken and can go on down the line of a list of things, not including tons of chiefs and medicine men and shamans here locked into insane asylums by our gvt and elders afraid to talk about it these men were locked into insane asylums because they spoke to the animal's, nature were spiritual in tuned in ( reality ) not crazies they were locked away for worshiping god should show you how well Satan influenced what was brought here and across the globe ,a group of people went into the insane asylum I as talking about this all was opened up by chief golden light eagle member of the
Ihunktowan Dakota Nation , people went into this same insane asylum was speaking of and realized everyone locked away in their wasnt ( nuts or crazy) but we're all released and chief golden light eagle had one grandpa die in their and another imprisoned in there, as Spanish just like they did here with Europeans invaded into Jane's tribal land, and destroyed so much and took so much that belongs to the native peoples of Janes country , and irony now my country runs so much military operations in the Philippines using native land as they do here for curruption and destruction! It's disgusting!

More word meanings,

Tis- it is,
sedulous-(of a person or action) showing dedication and diligence
Malong- Malong
The malong is traditionally used as a garment by numerous tribes
in the Southern Philippines and the Sulu Archipelago.
Its origin is from the ethnical group of Maranao,
Maguindanao and T’boli located in Mindanao.
Handwoven malongs are made by the weavers on a backstrap loom.
Very rare malong designs and styles can indicate the village in which the malong was made.
Handwoven malongs, which are costly- made of cotton and silk,
are likely to be used only at social functions, to display
the social and economic status of the wearer.
But a malong in royal colours is worn only by Maranao men and women of royal status.
The malong can also function as a skirt for both men and women,
a dress, a blanket, a bedsheet, a hammock, a prayer mat, and other purposes.
Mindanao sea, is closest to Misamis Occidental.
Verily, means truly or certainly
Psalms- sacred song or hymn, religious verses
Doth- another form of does, just like dost.
Jehovah - one of the names for god in hebrew.

Never be ashamed of your native language
Say those beautiful
Phrases and words
Loud and proud.

Do not let anyone stop you from speaking
Let your voice be
Heard and recognized
Don't you dare let anybody make fun of your accent
Embrace the thickness
Don't ever lose grasp of it.

For it is one of the precious treasure
You could ever hold on to
After leaving your homeland
To start a new life in a foreign country
That offers you a whole lot of new opportunities.

Hold on to your mother tongue
As tight as you can
Because this new country you now live in
Will do its very best to change your identity
And oppress your culture.

So it be French or Spanish
Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese
Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilonggo
Greek, Punjabi, Hindi, Sinhalese
Arabic, Vietnamese, Portuguese
German or Russian
And any other language there is in the world.

It has exquisite words that just cannot be simply translated into English
For it has far greater meaning behind it
It is very much well-written
Alluring to one's eye and
Spoken eloquently and gracefully
That the English language is not able to compare
To your admirably and enticing
Well-spoken mother tongue.
I salute your bravery
For moving into a brand new place
And the willing to learn
A whole new language
Because it is not easy for all of us to do so.

This is for the immigrants and internationals who have travelled into Canada and they are constantly being bashed for their accent and their difficulty with learning the English language, the same people who mock them are the ones who have only spoken English all their lives. I personally think the willingness of learning a language so different with your mother tongue in order to improve your future is amazing and I admire each and everyone of you who do so. As someone who has been made fun of in previous years because I had this thick accent, you shouldn't let them make you feel less and do not let them try to think that your race and culture is lower than theirs, cause it is not.

Also, happy national poetry month :-)

i.

Society keepeth their amour' in a box
Hidden, unrevealed, secretive, locked;
Me and mine Jane, shalt be open as a flame,
As on mine knee's I peck upon her toe's;
Again and again.

ii.

In the midday hour's when her back and neck get's sore
Mine fingertip's shalt caresseth her epidermis;
With sultry emollient, from her head to her feet.
I rubbeth in deep, as tis she shalt falleth asleep
As the best massage she's ever hadst,
Put's her into a trance in mine hold:
In peace she slumbereth,
Into a romantic kingdom
Stacked with ourn affection's gold.

iii.

Over an hour-plus thirty minute's,
Mine sweaty Palm's art tender;
Though it was all worth it
To mine queen mine soul surrendered;
Entering in her shuteye, I entered in locking ourn leg's, head's, arm's: closely cuddling-pillow's feathered.
Here at this moment, nothing else in the world mattered.

She is not just a woman, or just some mere creation to me.

Seeith, she hast a halo, fulsome and rapturous in highest degree.

Seeith, doth thou friend; her eye's as a muffled jungle panther;

They dance the uncultivated bush, the wind here is her laughter.

Cool, it bloweth upon thine sweltered cheek's, she's unseen;

Like a dream, she is the shelter every forager desires to keep.

I'm hidden amongst the shrub, dying to taketh a peek;

I want to catch a glimpse of her, in all her amour', her taste, fine;

Her spirit is mine, one of a kind, a dining shine, whilst the moon,

In ourn room, she clutches mine anatomy, O', how I'm so happy.

Just in case
Just in case mine lass;
If tonight I taketh mine last breath
And mine soul through the city of gold shalt pass.

ii.

Just in case
Just in case mine Reyna;
If tomorrow I do not wakest
And mine body's a deathly patina.

iii.

Just in case
Just in case mine Jane;
I want to thanketh thee, for thine friendship, amare, and care,
And giving me happiness, beyond all mine hopes and dream's.

iv.

Just in case
Just in case mine seraphim;
I go into the deep,
Thus mine mother shalt leaveth thee mine keep's, mine native American necklace, poem's; a lock of mine blonde hair.

v.

Just in case I sleepeth
And passeth on eternally;
I shalt be waiting, I made thee a promise
To meetest thou mine queen.
So If mine eyeball's faileth
And mine spirit chooseth to soar,
Surely mine Earl Jane Nagley
I'll meeteth thee at heaven's door.

Tis I am just a man, a boy if thou want to sayest, a foolish lad; who hast hurt his blessing of a queen.

Tis I am just a man, a sinner, a prehistoric bringer; of sorrows
Where bird's dont sing.

O' wretched man I am; overlooking this perfect flower, she's arrayed as a petal neath the tropical hours.

O' im just the rain that brings the flood of many woes.

I wish, O' how I wish, I couldst pour all contentment and merriment into her lonesome soul.

Tis she's the rainbow, I the dusky storm. O' how her glow maketh mine day's liveable; O' how her voice is opulent galore.

If only she knew, she is mine better, mine best; mine breath of yellow dew.

Though I've not shown her the worth that she is; mine trials and tribulations hast become
mine abyss.

Though I shalt get through
This passage of gloom.

With God All is possible;

Even being set free from this tomb.

Tis I am just a man, a boy if thou want to sayest, a foolish lad.

Who if couldst wouldst start all afresh; re-giving mine love, and to get all mine best.

How a simpleton ive been;

To not seest heaven's eastern gem, glimmer her perfect wing's, for mine foolishness, these word's shalt I sing.

(Goes into song form, words "I love you jane, please forgive me" sung in spanish, greek, cebuano, tagalog/filipino).......

(Spanish)
Te amo jane,
por favor perdoname.

(Greek)
Se 'agapó Jane,
Se parakaló synchóresé me.

(Cebuano)
ako nahigugma kanimo Jane,
palihug pasayloa ako.

(Tagalog/filipino)
Mahal kita jane,
patawarin mo ako.

Ikaw ang bahandi
dugay ko nang gihandum
Ikaw ang bituon
Sa ngit ngit kong baybayon

Ikaw lang akong
akong higugmaon
Ikaw lang ako
Ako matinud-anon

Ikaw akong hangin
Ikaw akong ulan
Ikaw akong langit
ug ang akong kalibutan

Ikaw lang akong higugmaon
Ikaw lang ako
Ako matinud-anon

Ikaw akong gahapon
Ikaw akong karon
Ikaw akong kanunay
Pulong ko tinud-anay
Kasing-kasing paminawa
dinuyugan ning gitara
wa ka nag inusara
kanimu nahigugma.
Ikaw

Ikaw ang katam-is
Kalipay na walay sama
Ikaw ba nasayod?
sa likod ning pahiyum

Ikaw lang akong
Akong higugmaon
Ikaw lang ako
Ako matinud anon

Ikaw akong gahapon
Ikaw akong karon
Ikaw akong kanunay
Pulong ko tinud anay
Kasing-kasing paminawa
dinuyugan ning gitara
wa ka nag inusara
kanimu nahigugma.

Tagohala na gibati sa akong kinabuhi
Ikaw lang ang bulawan na
gitipigan sa akong dughan
Mahanaw man ang adlaw
Magsubo man ang buwan
Dili ka gyud talikdan
Ug di gyud pasipad an.

Ikaw......

[English]

You are my treasure
I've ever wished for
You are the star
of my dark coasts

You are who I will
I will love
You are who I am
I am truthful.

You are my wind
You are my rain
You are my heaven
and my only world

You are who I will
I will love
You are who I am
I am truthful.

You are my yesterday
You are my now
You are my always
My words are ever true
Listen to the heart
Accompanied by this guitar
You are not alone
I am in love with you.
You

You are the sweetness
A one-of-a-kind euphoria
Do you even know?
Behind this smile

You are who I will
I will love
You are who I am
I am truthful.

You are my yesterday
You are my now
You are my always
My words are ever true
Listen to this heart
Accompanied by this guitar
You are not alone
I am in love with you.

The mystery I feel in my
life
You're the only gem
I hold dear in my chest
The sun may even die
Even the moon would cry
I'd never turn my back to you
And I would never hurt you.

You......
Just being random.

Here's a story of a not so lovely baby

Hey babay go'ne my way

Faded, on his way, shameless

Maybe needs some work....

What the hey, anyhow he play

The game of heart break

Silent now

Shirk and shake it off your shoulders

Telling myself insistingly

"He ain't my responsibility"

"I won't feel bad - take care of your own

****"

We smoke and vape

The other **** we hit the days wide awake

My bad, acquaintance not much else

A brief voicemail

he is shaming whispering

"Hey bakla - what are you?"

Who that Price?

when your ice glaciers melt

And garbage comes bubbling up

From under your breath

So Truly only you

For reals tho'

Be he the abandoned one

Early on broke

Those years ago a kid

Hatred your imaginary friended

You're a G in your head

Spite quiets down when

Down and out ...

Crazy to suddenly

See you now

Still loathing me

And somehow I believed it

As cries for help but

Hungry wolf each night

Is still a dog

planning to bite.

Still angry at me for nothing's right

Just another sod

To prey and feed

Upon...

Yow not a dog

Your it's flea.

To think I prayed for you...

Forgot the gist of this

So so sorry

No kidding this morning

No taller story

Than pretending to be something

Worthy.

As friend as family.

Now you're just a *****

Someone Without a name

If Strangers call you ****

I still do not know you

Aren't that close with

Who you've wronged before...or

Why I'm an open door,

Walked on all over

Sorry so tardy to tell you

No more.
