i hear stories
of your eyes, how they'd hold the
galaxies and stars

U were Astrophile
Shined only tint bit of that blinding light
I was moon who pulled u closer
In orbit to shift the stars in a line
McKala Hanes Mar 2018
As she stares at the stars and you stare at her,
You wonder what she sees in them.
It’s the stars that make her smile like that.
You want to wash your hair with stardust,
Wear a necklace of a shimmering constellation,
Shove entire planets in your eyesockets,
And burst into a girl-supernova
So that maybe, just maybe, she will love you, too.

I have galaxies inside me
that form constellations of love
when you hold me ;
Your eyes look like Venus and Mars
And your tears feel like
Meteor showers.

I  always carry star  ,
and whenever darkness will surround  you
I'll lit them up and make a small universe
that will make you  feel the beauty of night.

I started reading the letter

It read: I always loved the magics, miracles of the universe. But I never found a small piece of love from the universe for me. So there's no point being a part of the universe. I quit. I love you ...

I wished I could have made you realize that the universe loved you more than I did.

After all,
I would have been a fool not noticing

the way the sunshine played with your hair

the way the raindrops slipped slowly from your lips

the way the wind flew only to feel your body

the way the stars twinkled praising your beauty

the way the rainbow silently dissolved the colour of your eyes with himselfs'

the way the lightning appeared to frighten u and feel your breaths

the way different beautiful, gorgeous, wonderful, lovely stars in the universe gave up their life to contribute their  'starstuff ' to prepare a gorgeous living thing

But you never realized the thing because

You were an astrophile
I was a philosopher..
Love makes life live

you were the stars, and I
a daytime astrophile
Looking at you like stars in the night
Makes me tremble in fear as it dwells in light
Your eyes are beautiful as it depicts the moon
And your smile is a chain-like constellation

Black holes and love are analogous
Both end with an act of rigorous
Time dilation unveils the mystery
Ending up with pain and misery

Celestial bodies as if it is your representation
No more words for explanations,
Me as an astrophile breaks my own expectation
To see you in person not in my imagination

Nebula's splendidness sits atop in memory
Yet the best of all is your profound beauty
Expressing my confession turns into failure
Charming my whole content by your allure

Watching stars in the midst of the night
Patiently waiting for a breathtaking twilight
Having these feelings is a common thing
Yet my head and conscience are both shaking

Can't help myself to fall in love with such beauty
Same for an object to fall due to Earth's gravity
Expressing your compassion as it is a theory
Hoping to wake up in this **** stuff called "reality"

Pardon my errors and choice of words
Still trying even if it is out of this world
Not knowing this is for you
Believing that you like me too
