Anger is a scary thing
Imagine being angry for year
Never knowing it was caused
from being insecure.

You were
easily enraged
Your daddy was drunk
Your mommy was late
an unfulfilled childhood
was your adolescence fate

Now that part of you
is still raw
And now you’re angry at us all!

But I still love you!
P.S
I wish I could’ve raised you with mine!
Traveler Tim

My two sons are very happy as adults!

caroline
pony-tailed playmate
head tucked in her shirt
gazing steadily down
at her toes in the dirt

chaos tiptoes around her
naive oblivion
journeys in far away lands
just west of the meridian

watercolor fairy tales
bleeding outside the lines
unaware of the danger
unaware of the signs

let me sit with you, darling
in the dampened flower beds
and paint a new world
for us in our heads
Lady of the lonely street
Why do you smile so sadly?
Are your days just as sour as mine?
Or do you bare a pain born of the mind?
I wonder if one day
You'll see me walking too,
See I'm just like you,
I bare a sad smile too.
Do not promise
To love me to the moon
And back
I don't want that
Just love me
Right by my side
And do not leave

If I was the tide
I'd rush out and join the sea
Youd never see me

I'd have the fish swim in my depth
The sun explode like a diamond mine

Ships would sail above me
Sails bellowing in the wind

I'd never search for the sand
Where seagulls scurry
Forever more banished from the land

since when was the world full of bright brilliant colors?
since when did sunsets cast shades of pink and purple in the sky?
since when did coffee dates involve strands of yellow sunlight shining through frosted windows?
since when did skatepark dates involve soft green grass and ruby red roses?
since when has this world not been monochromatic shades of grey?
because thats all i can see.
help me understand these colors of yours, i would like to experience the beauty.

remind me--
what was ever so romantic about
sunrises, rain, and morning coffee?
remind me how to find meaning
in the monochrome,
paint color into the mundane
and strive for imperfection.

When the clouds turn crystal white
A whisper of silence comes to sight

By a cold wind sneaking through the trees
And a crystal flake kissing the leaves

As the pouring rain turns to a wonder
And the white streets become longer

A view that looks like a dream
It’s true, winter has come indeed
