There was a boy once;
or was it a girl..
made of something the world
couldn’t touch
without bleeding.

Too quiet to sell,
too true to shape.
His hands were wrong,
they said.
Too jagged.
Too real.

He tried to trim the world
into beauty.
She sang
to keep from vanishing.
And somewhere,
a father
drank his memories clean.

They both were punished
for what they couldn’t change
.

And maybe that’s why
when I reach for you,
I move slow..
like someone who’s been taught
that love can leave a mark.

Maybe you are Edward.
Maybe I am.
Maybe we both learned
how to stay hidden
just well enough
to be misunderstood.

But I see the hedge animals still.
The snow.
The scars that bloom like gifts
no one wanted to unwrap.

And I would rather hold you
in thought
than bruise you
with presence.

I would rather
watch your voice return
like spring
to a mountain still afraid of thawing
than claim a single sound
before it’s ready.

If you are Edward,
then your blades
are mercy
you never asked for.

And if I am..
then everything I do not touch
is a kind of love
you’ll one day recognize
by how softly
it stayed.

I know how hard it is..
to live in Edward’s world.

As you,
I’ve felt the same.

Catch your breath, hit the wall
Scream out loud as you start to crawl
Back in your cage, the only place
Where they will leave you alone

Because the weak will seek the weaker
'til they've broken them
Could you get it back again?
Would it be the same?

Fulfillment to their lack of strength
at your expense
Left you with no defense,
they tore it down

Well, and I have felt the same
Well, as you, I've felt the same
Well, as you, I've felt the same

Locked inside the only place
Where you feel sheltered,
where you feel safe
You lost yourself in your search to find
Something else to hide behind

Because the fearful always preyed
upon your confidence
Did they see the consequence,
they pushed you around?
The arrogant build kingdoms
made of the different ones
Breaking them 'til they've become,
just another crown

Well, and I have felt the same
Well, as you, I've felt the same
Well, as you, I've felt the same
Well, as you, I've felt the same

Refuse to feel anything at all
Refuse to slip, refuse to fall
You can't be weak,
you can't stand still
You watch your back
because no one will

You don't know why they had
to go this far
Traded your worth for these scars
For your only company

And don't believe the lies
that they have told to you
Not one word was true
You're alright, you're alright,

you're alright

Well, and I have felt the same
Well, as you, I've felt the same
Well, as you, I've felt the same

#Unique
a man of letters
who pens
upon
trivial matters in convivial inns
where his life is spent
almost invariably
in tatters       ..
I am at peace with who I am.
Sometimes affirming it is a really good way to feel it.
Today is my birthday 🎂🎈
I hope you all keep enjoying my writings. I truly enjoy writing and sharing whatever feels right intuitively. Thank you all for being here and supporting me.

A polite smile,
a wave..

And everything,  unknowable
is made so flowable.

Thus is the world.
Thus is your world.

I will choose to die in obscurity
unknowable, too.  No gravestone
No memory.

Nothing.

Thus is my world
created by a world

so intentionally, unknowable.

You do not attract what you want, you attract what you are / so if you want your epic love, you must be an epic lover / if you want abundance, you must be abundant / in other words, Universe does not respond to your want / it responds to your I am it responds to your energy / and the times I’d thought I found love, what I’d really found was whatever feeling I was operating from / and anger, desperation, fear, lack——none make very satisfying bedmates let me tell you / and none equal love

So be love / be love, and let the world love you back / do not think your empty prayers your daily affirmations will fool God / God’s language is not words
a little something I jotted down yesterday.
In the winter of
My darkest sadness
A candle glows,
Tiny and so far away.
It gives the darkness
A focal point and I
Struggle my way towards it.

Another candle lights my way.
I don’t know where it came from
But it makes a fearful journey
So much easier to manage,
And I eventually will dance
On thistledown to
The music of the Skylarks
In a sun-filled, cloudless sky.
  ljm
Working to chase the blues away.
born in the artic snow
she chromed
her heart
in steel

flames could
not
touch that heart

always a half a step ahead
sure
a few stumbles
but never a fall

and moonlight is just
a heartache in disquise

till one day
leaning out a car window
a scar upon his cheek
and the luck of the draw

was the jack of hearts

and the queen of diamonds
had
never met
anyone
quite like

the jack

of hearts,

black-haired blue-eyed
her beauty inspired
stupid men
to commit foolish acts

and as he smiled
the queen of diamonds
thought she had

the jack of hearts,

blue sky shimmering
in her eyes

jack became
the brightness
of her day

and the jack of hearts
saw a flame
flickering in her eyes
that he had never seen
in any women's eyes
before ...

               act. 2

... a strange destiny
was unraveling
and one long poker hand
was over
and the snowflakes came
down like ashes
under the street light

and then
the jack of hearts
walked away

a pale spirit fleeing
a graveyard
into the wall of night

and the queen of diamonds
cried

the sea into sky

with eyes
like twilight
waiting

to eat away the day
