Your hands let me bleed
My hands let you live

My eyes saw your lies
Your eyes saw my pain

But You didn’t bleed, you caused the pain. It’s not fair that the hands that hurt me aren’t even scratched at all.
Clean hands in heartbreak

It’s astrology.
Read the stars
in my eyes
Hand me the key
And I’ll chain my own wrists
Slipping in and out
Of our own lives
Like shadows.
I can’t breathe underwater.

In the darkness
I reflect the sky
In the midst of this war
I’m sacrificial
It’s written on my face
And the palms of my hands
My fortune
The belief I will save you

My eyes are tired
But you can see me
Dreaming your dreams,
Drifting in the undertow.
Everything has changed.
I’ll drown under these grey skies
A kiss of life
Under the weight of the world

Beware ancient grudge
Either the red or the blue
It is all purple
We pay for our restraints, strap them to ourselves
And then we wonder why there is no joy

i’m grateful for the nights
i can’t sleep
for the time i get to spend
with the stars—
none of us knowing
why we have to exist
in the dark,
but choosing to shine anyway
4am and counting
Do you remember me?
I was the boy sitting at the back in history
When I tried to talk to you, I would stutter
Because you always made my heart flutter

You were the most popular girl in class
I was ordinary and our styles would clash
You always ignored me as if I wasn't there
It hurt me, knowing you didn't really care

That was so many years ago, now here you are
I'm so sorry to see you've fallen so far
Begging on the street, with nothing in your eyes
Your looks are gone, no one hears your cries

Do you remember me?
I was the boy sitting in the back of history
I'm trying to help you, but I can only stutter
Handing you some money, watching it flutter

To the girl I always think about
To the girl who makes me laugh
To the girl that I wanna kiss
Me and you would me be perfect
Just

If we weren’t friends.
I thank you
God for a
Prayer i hadn't
Sent
But you answered
In ways only
You could
And you loved
Me so full
Of flaws
To put me
On the mend
And I thank
You
With all my
Heart
