At the expense of the future
Busying self with nonsense
The Most characteristic feature
Of **** Sapiens Sapiens

As some poor butterflies
Based on the time I post
My digital poems’ lives
Last a few days at most
labyrinth Jan 2022
Since the astrologists
Are doing a ****** job
Poor epidemiologists
Have to work overtime
labyrinth May 2022
One day a guy from the crowd
Gave this rich guy a fair shake
And made the billions feel proud
By just throwing that whole cake
labyrinth Aug 2022
If you neither became rich
Nor found a rich spouse yet
You’re then the system’s *****
Get used to the idea of debt
labyrinth May 11
You think you are so close
Then in the blink of an eye
Fresh target or fresh dose
You’re ready for a new try

Although it was not always the case
Love’s not for the hungry these days

listen to me, and listen good
you won’t hear it elsewhere
this is to make you reassured
a gruff sound from over there

take a sip of your cold, creamy beer
don’t brag though, just be aware
you could’ve been born around here
and i could’ve been born over there

your story then would be mine
it is as simple and cruel as that
get the irony in this harsh design
after all geography is pure kismet

different colors in passports
refer to different statuses
till we find better transports
it is bound to embarrass us

i’m burgundy you are navy blue
can you feel how unequal we are
i can only hope without a single clue
this reality will be tomorrow’s memoir

it didn’t have to be this way though
if it wasn’t for the chosen ones
we’re the puppets, it’s their show
dance already, you heard the drums

While causing vanity
Also dilutes humanity
Admiration for money
Is a fashion of insanity
labyrinth Nov 2021
If you’re the one
Dishing the dirt on me
You’d better run
Before I reach three
labyrinth Nov 2021
This is not even a poem, call it a brief story
Showing you how bad the situation will be

Doers and Watchers, as far as I can see
Are sole perpetrators of this class 1 felony,

I’ve tried to portray them as simple as possible
So every single one of you can hold them responsible

Let’s take a deeper look, we may find a solution
Before we die in this environmental pollution

Clean is such a nice word, especially with air
Some purposely don’t get it, mainly profiteer

I’m having hard time to understand how come
People neglect seeing the devastating outcome

The whole ecosystem is simply breaking down
We’re stuck in this weary, alarming countdown

Earth’s been around for 4.5 billion years
In a couple of centuries, wounds in all spheres

Technology is fine I guess, gave us a new angle
It’s the ******* money we just can’t handle

The elite won’t lift a finger for the sake of masses
But soon they’ll have to do it to cover their *****

Greedy, hungry, and egocentric *******
Urging climate apocalypse, these money masters

I’ve seen their honor is melting down faster
Than the arctic region. Now, that’s real disaster

Trying to accumulate cash, power and chairs
With purposely ignoring the world’s real heirs

Think about it! Because of their advantageous nature
The only crowds of this devastating future

Are innocent kids along with the youngsters
Only if they can survive these cruel gangsters

The mathematics whispers in my ear saying that
If part of the surplus that these rich ***** had

Could be used against, say; global-warming
There would be no need for any prior warning

To save the mother earth from any danger
Before we turn it into a toxic stranger

Or else people will extinct with a lot of money
I know it sounds sad but also pretty funny

The end seems close, maybe in our life time
I honestly cannot think of a bigger crime

We’re not even aware of that. It’s a crying shame
Like we got nothing to do with it and aliens are to blame

Green and blue are both becoming pale gray
Few mind that, the rest turn their eyes away

It is already costing us a pretty ******* penny
Why wait for digging graves for more than many

We need to change the dictionary we’re using
It is self-destructive and nature-abusing

A good bank for instance is next to a river
Internalize that well, thus you can deliver

Why talk about climate? What’s with all the huff?
How about hunger, poverty and bunch of other stuff

I’m not saying that they are not of vital importance
Come to think of it though, the order of precedence

Suggests nature first, because without mother-earth
No nothing else will ever have a date of birth

Don’t listen to politicians, those blatant factions
And without-further-ado, take necessary actions

It means a lot to terra, it can’t thank you enough
Believe me, none of this is fuss, nor is there a bluff

Convincing even one soul, I mean, a single person
Before above troubles deepen and/or worsen

Cannot be underestimated. Nor can it be judged
Enough with negligence. Nothing’s left to be fudged

This lone writing hopefully, aiming at the subject
May encourage someone to rise and further object

It’s up to you my friend to give a **** or not
This humble work proves that I have at least tried

Other methods were tested and results were pathetic
That’s why Labyrinth’s warning you in a way so poetic

You might as well quit. But what if you liked the skit.
If so, be my guest and start spreading it
It felt like the time for re-posting

Clouds know how to show
Winds know why to blow
Trees know when to shed
Rivers know where to head

Animals know what to do
Ocean knows why it’s blue
Nature reveals a fine lesson
For eye to see and ear to listen

Perfect harmony and insight
Mother nature’s always right
Terra’s ever been so aware
It’s us who’s never been fair

The poor
The wronged
The oppressed
All the other underdogs
Don’t you ever lose hope
God has other plans for you
And he probably always will
As long as you stand stock-still

Feel free as the bird
For the simple reason
You can’t polish a ****

At once, without any hesitation
I took all the broken promises
Back to the owners for negotiation
Should’ve seen the look on their faces

I actually agree with you
And I’d admit that too
If I weren’t an operator
Working at a call center

Will take off, I suppose

The delivery guy’s at the door
Must’ve brought what I ordered, or
Maybe this time a virus along with it
An attempted ******, so legit
The New Normal is at the least
The freaking ghost at the feast
It is still up to me. Totally my call
Opening the door, not knowing at all
Whether it is the death waiting outside
Or just the milk delivered where I reside
labyrinth May 2021
I think I am done
Loving you is costly
Because I am the one
Who’s unhappy mostly

Letting human souls
Born to be noble
Rot out with ugly goals
Trouble of all troubles
labyrinth Nov 2020
I don’t at all mean to limit
People, but if you think about it
Having more than one kid on purpose
Turns the whole world into a sad circus
Then complaining about inadequacy
Of anything is now a big hypocrisy
Let’s take a look, what’s missing
In the midst of all noises and hissing
Clean water, fresh air, enough food
Jobs and education, both good
An intact healthcare system
And much more, but I don’t wanna list’em
This is not a matter of whether you are resilient
You know better than this. We’ll soon hit ten billion
More than one kid simply means
Population will have no decrease
Do not scatter them sperms around
Your kids will suffer too. That’s not profound
You probably hate me for saying all of the above
It’s not about me, it’s about the ones you love
From me to you, one last call out
Please do care for a timely pull out

The same thing

I really wonder, right now
I mean at this very moment
How many folks feel alright
Nothing more, just alright

Why employees’ elbow grease
Is being abused with an increase

Labor is value, labor is sweat
Labor is the workers’ bayonet
Just a short citation from another poem of mine
labyrinth Apr 2021
I’m more interested
In hearts love broke
Than hearts love healed
Call that skepticism
Or simple realism
I couldn’t care less
Till you know to love from to possess

Hearts and minds’re wounded
And most of us are plain stupid
No self enlightenment, no heal
Is hard yet the only square deal

If I had to choose
Between the two
To make friends
Without pretense
I’d go for Forrest Gump
Over Donald J. Trump

I don’t know no more the good from the bad
They say authority was sleeping, not awake
That makes me furious, that makes me mad
Government is deadlier than the earthquake
labyrinth Apr 2021
There are poor people out there, around us
On the sidewalk, next door or in a public bus
One might think we breathe the same air
I know for a fact that the heavier is theirs
Then there is the homeless
Carrying the sense of homelessness
Anywhere they go, in every single realm
During the day, at night. And, that is all the time
There are beggars as well
Some are not that innocent, I can tell
But it won’t make any difference
Unjust is unjust, by inference
By a nasty grenade or evil-minded shrapnel
There are literally millions of wounded people
For good reasons though, as they were told
Some stories right there for grandchildren to unfold
You know? Babies, small kids die of hunger
I don’t think death can get one any younger
You know? Babies, small kids die of hunger
I don’t think death can get one any younger
Even the world seems to ignore it, or openly declines
I still felt like repeating those two lines
We share the century ******* it, with all of them
A century that I unashamedly condemn
Without even thinking any of this
We get up everyday in our own abyss
Any solution to that? We can’t seem to find
Other than playing both deaf and blind

Tells me if you’re from north or south
I don’t mean it like the hometown
I mean whether you’re up or down

Kingdoms may be dead
But the kings are so not
Any democracy instead
Is the kings’ new plot

Take a sip from the wine
And just try to stay calm
There is nothing divine
In this counterfeit realm

I see you don’t believe me
Asking “what about god”
Ignorance killed him, silly
Religions are now flawed

My humble part is to describe
Telling about their whole deal

Sorrows and the open wounds,

If there was no great beyond
Just another way to conceive
If it’s trade to you or real bond

This terrible hangover
Makes me feel tired,
Beaten, wasted
I haven’t touched a drop yet
All that’s going on
And on and on
Stress is the ultimate pandemic
That we keep fighting
I’m not sure if we intend to win
All that anguish, all that despair
Just about everywhere
All that darkness
Even Netflix blockbusters
Are all about dystopia
I cannot run away
Maybe that’s exactly why
My hangover is not going anywhere
Anywhere soon at least
Till I beat the beast
Some ***** or lots of beers
Curtaining all my fears

Not to make fuss about this
Yet, let me make a quick point
We’re all on the brink of an abyss
Whether or not we like it

How can any education
Be a sufficient insurance
For a pathetic population
Keeps favoring ignorance

Of course I can
Close my eyes to all
The bad things
Take place around me
Or in the whole world
For that matter
And start chilling
I simply don’t
Find it effective
That’s all

After taking my time
To think thoroughly
To be able to come up with the kindest
And the truest words to utter to you
In an ethical and responsible manner
In order not to fall into the trap
Of rage and fury
An not to be unjust to you
Yet keep my decency and honesty
So I won’t lose my inner peace
I’ll simply say this
*******
