Do you ever feel...
Like the person you love...
Is just an illusion?
A vision inside your head...

The President is writing in ALL CAPS today
And that’s all right because caps are okay:

He has ‘em in colors: red, white, and gold

And an old one in green from Viet-Nam
Where he was a-serving 1 of his Uncle Sam

These         little       moments      that      always      bring
little          feelings    which        crave        her          sight
moments    which     bring           her        words      back
that            crave         her           voice         so           stirring
always        her         words          so      beguilingly  deceitful
bring         sight         back       stirring     deceitful   despair

You remind me of the ocean,
a great sea ruled by the moon;
with calms before the storms,
the tides guide your mood
I've lived on your shores long enough to know your signs
Dreams don't have
expiry date.

the mirror to my soul

that lights up my direction
