It comes from nowhere
It's the faint, burning prickle
Springs behind your eyes
Bidding you stop and wonder
Why your breath caught in your throat.

seven days ago
spring’s start was celebrated
then heavy snows fell
winter ignored the memo
the marching band carried on

combined effort
      moonlight, trees, autumn breeze
  form bobbing shadows
a humorous theatre
     mocks my solitary mood
Notes For 00001 01... made into a poem

looning

moon lumin with the breeze
cutting out uglies
cookie dough shadows
wailing hands in the trees
leaves clipped from the earth
cursed in rebirth before the projector
recurring all this wit and tangle
strangulates my solitary mood
and pensive strides
breaks my face into mirth
mad-mad impractical and inefficient
life complimenting simian laughter

motionless Winter chill
crystal dry and vacuous
         still
life thrives minuscule
busy in me ******

the song is faulty
everyone does not want to
rule the world, not i,
just want to be left along
in the world to live and love

I am always here
the little girl smiled down
from the oak wardrobe
in his soft silhouette house.
Now pull the covers tighter

Crisp air blowing through
Hibiscus and red roses
Filling my nose with
A touch of pink health. Spreading
To my face like soft kisses
Snowblind Dec 2021
For the mountain
Loneliness from windー
Is an impossibility.
And yet still
Beautiful that the blossoms fall and fly away.
As far as I am aware, the site, as of now, does not support Kanji. While I could post these in katakana, it would feel far more disingenuous to the core elements of many haiku and tanka, and so I feel more comfortable posting them as self-translations. Which also explains why the syllable/on count is not in line, since it is a translation. Hopefully they will at least convey the feelings I am trying to express. Or the atmosphere. Whichever finds you.

Don't know what I need
Till I see it on the net
The pictures look great
Reviews say it's worth having
Close the lid and go to bed
