Change
We all try to cling onto a memory in time,
That we do not wish to let go;
But in the end all our memories change.
They evolve or fade as does their face
And if we wish to once more hold,
On to a moment in our past,
We will forever remember a bad day.
But if all things change during the course of our lives,
Then surely so must we.
There is no true time healer.
With age we grow wiser, as we are growing weaker in our minds.
As our brain in youth was getting stronger with every experience,
We are now only sinking deeper.
We look into ourselves in search of what we need,
But we are forever blind to knowing all knowledge.
So a place of peace is all we can hope to seek.
A happy medium tells us a story,
Of how we can bring our lives into balance.
So we search the mountain tops and the valleys below.
We search into the deepest caverns,
On the darkest of nights, in search of a new home.
All that ever was could become once more
And all that which is now, is still, still.
A moment of enlightenment,
A sight for sore eyes.
We will find what we need to find in our own time.
Is it time to change your destiny…or is it time to change your life?
