Lots of thoughts
And even more shots
Just to drown the pain
Or just to sustain

A calm face
In a public place
Where I got some space
At my own pace

I may recover
From this but I
May not have a lover
The trust wasn’t applied

i wonder
what it feels like
right before
you take the step
into peace
and your body
hits the water

Your Eyes

A deep..Haunting..Unique shade of blue-green...
With flecks of night sky placed in such delicate haphazardness,
I look away...
Not out of fear or dismal...No...
But out of the tsunami of emotions that course through me...
You calm me, tame my wild thoughts that tell me every positive thing you say about me is wrong...
Your eyes pierce through my cold & warms my heart,
As you put my shattered soul together again
piece by piece...
With just your eyes you make me sane;
Even in the darkness...

When I am weary and looking for hope
When storms roar all around me I know
Jesus comes to me, He holds me gently
He is the God of peace, this is the peace
The love and the worth I need

This is the joy, the glory and beauty
This is the joy that come from God
Filling my soul with endless peace
Believe and rejoice in the glory of God
I trust and believe in the peace from God

Lord, you come to me when I need you most
You tell me that there is peace and joy believing
Looking towards the God of our souls
Trusting and praying for strength to go on
Jesus, the power to behold and look for in God
There are days when this depression is a
Whisper
A ghost hiding in the corner
That feeling that you just can’t shake but never
See
That buzz in the back of your
Skull a bee’s nest
There are days when I say I’m okay and I
Mean it
And there are days the covers are lined with lead
I’ve never been a weightlifter but I know the
Feeling of crushed lungs
This bed is an ocean and I am out to sea
With no anchor
Rough water
Tossed overboard
There are days when this depression is standing
On the shore, yelling
“You should have learned to swim”

But thank the
Universe
For handing you a life jacket and a map to me.
