Watching you, you my prey
I want you
with an uncontrollable desire
Your scent speaking to me, so intense
This hunt
Watching you
Boy don't lie
Boy don't run
I want you
To have your body under mine
To eat you up, your blood...
This hunt
I'm eating it up
Boy keep losing
Boy keep running
My prey
No longer watching from a far
Tonight you're mine
with no escape
the beast inside satisfied hearing your last breathe
The days of limericks
gone with the tide
thought as old fashioned
were they too hard to rhyme
or maybe thought childish
no longer taught in the schools
i hope we're not raising
a generation of fools
even old timers
seem to leave them alone
setting rhyme up with meter
is a skill that they hone
if we'd just write a few
and sharpen our mind
I think a lot of great poetry
is what we would find

mads
fingers,
hands.

nail beds,
knuckles.

palms so sweaty,
i could replenish all seven seas.

thumbs,
the freckle on the inside of my left ring finger.

i wish,
they would stay together.

my fingers,
they always find back doors and wander off to new continents.

my palms,
continue to melt away with the salt water they leak.

my freckle,
left me for another.

and now all i have is wrist stumps,
and no way to reach the scratch on my back.
observation warmup in my creative writing course, i used my own hands. :-)

How

                          before
                               you
                                  love
                                      me?
