Love her like
She's the raging sea,
Unrestrained and dark and deep.
And you crave her touch
Through aching pores
As you slowly drown in sleep.

Love her like
She's the tender storm,
A lovely shade of grey.
Like with every whiff
Of breath she takes,
She's taking yours away.

Love her like
She's the silent clouds
With calmness floating by.
Like you'd want to make
Sweet love to her
Under the moon's apocalyptic eye.

Love her like
She's the blazing fire,
And you lust the candied pain.
Like she's the disease
That swallowed you whole
And you'd like to die again.

When her gentle touch
Makes your chest explode,
And your addiction is your girl.
Promise you'll love her
Through hell and back,
Or don't you dare love her at all.

Eudora
We know...
It was no doubt, His plan
For us to cross path
He chose you to be the man
To shield me from the eyes of wrath

You gave me so much...
Sincere generous guidance
Unforgettable,precious life values
One of a kind beautiful alliance
Always the remedy for my blues

I was truly blessed...
Into my heart you used to dive
Listened to my plight,my story
All these years,to be exact, five
You helped me achieved the secret glory

These are for sure...
We weaved beautiful memories
Will keep it with me, for a nice treat on a bad day
Years will pass to become centuries
Your kindness, I will never be able to repay

Another chapter...
Reality sank in and transformed the kinship
Connection from the indescribable bond
Led to a great,sweet friendship
Let's hope it'll last a lifetime and beyond

I can tell...
You say it's okay when it's not
You rather let your tears flow than share
It's not a happy plot
You don't wish to bare

So this is for you...
Words straight from the heart
Deep appreciation and heartfelt gratitude
Our little cares apart
I truly respect to your solitude

I want the whole world to know...
What a beautiful person you are
Masking your grief whilst putting smiles on so many
faces

Secretly, you are everyone's twinkling star
You make them feel warm embraces

Thank you...
For making me see life in a different light
My life will resume, with a brand new start
You have been an absolute delight
Telling me, the path ahead will be bright

This is the least I could do...
I am always here, you know I am
Should you want to rant, we can sit on a bench
What others will think, I stopped giving a ****
I'll buy you cans of coffee, your thirst, I will quench

Lastly...
I hope to make you smile in any way
I treasure what we have now, till my last breath I will
I'll keep you close to heart, come what may
On the pages of your *'gift'
, the words in my heart will spill

QUESTION

why doesn't anyone write a love poem

BEFORE they  " break up ! "

ANSWER

it's pretty obvious

isn't it  ?
Being set on the idea
Of getting to Atlantis,
You have discovered of course
Only the Ship of Fools is
Making the voyage this year,
As gales of abnormal force
Are predicted, and that you
Must therefore be ready to
Behave absurdly enough
To pass for one of The Boys,
At least appearing to love
Hard liquor, horseplay and noise.

Should storms, as may well happen,
Drive you to anchor a week
In some old harbour-city
Of Ionia, then speak
With her witty scholars, men
Who have proved there cannot be
Such a place as Atlantis:
Learn their logic, but notice
How its subtlety betrays
Their enormous simple grief;
Thus they shall teach you the ways
To doubt that you may believe.

If, later, you run aground
Among the headlands of Thrace,
Where with torches all night long
A naked barbaric race
Leaps frenziedly to the sound
Of conch and dissonant gong:
On that stony savage shore
Strip off your clothes and dance, for
Unless you are capable
Of forgetting completely
About Atlantis, you will
Never finish your journey.

Again, should you come to gay
Carthage or Corinth, take part
In their endless gaiety;
And if in some bar a ****,
As she strokes your hair, should say
"This is Atlantis, dearie,"
Listen with attentiveness
To her life-story: unless
You become acquainted now
With each refuge that tries to
Counterfeit Atlantis, how
Will you recognise the true?

Assuming you beach at last
Near Atlantis, and begin
That terrible trek inland
Through squalid woods and frozen
Thundras where all are soon lost;
If, forsaken then, you stand,
Dismissal everywhere,
Stone and now, silence and air,
O remember the great dead
And honour the fate you are,
Travelling and tormented,
Dialectic and bizarre.

Stagger onward rejoicing;
And even then if, perhaps
Having actually got
To the last col, you collapse
With all Atlantis shining
Below you yet you cannot
Descend, you should still be proud
Even to have been allowed
Just to peep at Atlantis
In a poetic vision:
Give thanks and lie down in peace,
Having seen your salvation.

All the little household gods
Have started crying, but say
Good-bye now, and put to sea.
Farewell, my dear, farewell: may
Hermes, master of the roads,
And the four dwarf Kabiri,
Protect and serve you always;
And may the Ancient of Days
Provide for all you must do
His invisible guidance,
Lifting up, dear, upon you
The light of His countenance.
Do not fall in love with Astrophysicists
We will tell you that
Your eyes glimmer like the stars
you have galaxies swimming in your veins
That your words sound like the spinning of a world around a sun
That the planet recently discovered dwarfs
In comparison to you
And that you are our universe
And when we are gone
You will never be able
To look up
Ever again
