My pockets
Miss your
Hands.
I cant keep them
As warm as you
Did.
I miss you too.

When I kissed you,
The world imploded,
But we were left untouched.

When I kissed you,
I was drifting,
Through the galaxies in your eyes.

When I kissed you,
My heartbeat intertwined with yours,
The way our hands did,
In your car,
On the way home.

When I kissed you,
It didn't matter that anyone could see us,
We are untouchable,
And infinite,
And endless.

I get it now,
This is love.
This is about my first kiss with my girlfriend. I'm so in love with her, and I think this poem describes it perfectly!
I LIKE TO SAY YOUR NAME

I like to say
your name

when you're
not here

turn you
into sound

conjure you out of
thin air

so that you appear
before me

dressed in sound
only

memory sketching in
the rest of you

as if sound
was just an outline

and love
colours you in

adding the voice last
so I can hear you say.

"Hello you..!"
and there you are

as present
as present

can be.

I like to say
your name

when you're
not there.
