don't pay too much close attention
to the rhymes and the flow
write from your heart
let it spill out
relentlessly
that is the most pure
of our words
raw emotion
who needs writing devices?

A work of art

Can come from humble beginnings

Just like an empty canvas

Fuelled with endless possibilities

Chances are it'll turn out

A masterpiece
Not sure if this qualifies as poetry or philosophy but it's what I believe

point being what may seem like nothing could turn out to be anything

Therefore take a chance on anything and everything (within reason) :)

someone once told me
pain is like water;
you need a little
to know you're alive,
but too much
will drown you.
and now I think
isn't it funny
how the things we do
to feel alive
are the things
that can **** us?

i suppose
it's because
we just want to feel
**something
I've been writing a lot of poetry lately. Sorry if I'm obnoxious. Credit to my friend for being the ambiguous person whose quote I used. (Take that, Danny.)

we found our
wings
but
the world saw butterflies

Again, it's a
mystery
My friend wrote this
Unfeeling , beautiful things -
deserve our understanding
Paralyzed , disproportional-
traits of character beg basic courtesy
Satin gardenias bring peace followed-
by pain ..
Colors are bleeding through marble tablets-
of retrospection ..
Eroded hands engaged in the fall
Becoming resolute , deserving-
of my permanent agitation
