beth fwoah dream
i.

the grass in the meadows
has grown high,
it melts like an emerald
sea under the sun.

ii.

summer stretches
robotic and angular
everything larger than life
sunshine and the childish rains
pouring stormy drops
on the window.

iii.

the sky is perfectly white
the cloud is an unbroken
line, no dots or dashs,
no hyphens or metaphors.

iv.

i dress in the morning and
undress at night let the
pools of the night tether me
to the sky.

Somewhere out there there's a man
Who tries to do what's right
He works and struggles everyday
But feels he's lost the fight
Somewhere out there there's a girl
Who thinks she has a scheme
But deep inside she's almost died
Because she lost her dream

(Chorus)
Someone needs to tell them
While they're in despair
While all hope has left them
There is Someone who cares
There's a One to hold them
When there's no place to go

That One's name is Jesus
In case you didn't know

Somewhere there's a woman
Who just received a call
She just cries, her husband's died
She thinks she's lost it all
A young boy sits waiting
For Daddy to come home
Day turns into evening
And still he is alone

(Chorus)

Somewhere there's a person
Who's always been in pain
Who's always felt so guilty
Who's always been ashamed
So who has the answer?
Is help to be found?
When there's war and famine
And wickedness abounds

Yes! There is a Person
Who's overcome Death's knife
He's the Risen Savior...

Give to Him your life!

(Chorus)

This song I wrote eight years ago. I hope it's meaningful to you.

Today I'm going to try to catch up on my reading and responses to comments. I'm so sorry I haven't been on the site as much as I'd like. And it seems the hurrier I go the behinder I get... LOL!

Please forgive me for my seemingly laxidasical attitude toward your work. Believe me that is not my intention. You are ALL important to me!

Autumn Rose
The cold wind greeted
the hoarfrost that
evening as white
butterflies started to
fall from the dark sky.
Soon the pearly blanket
was spread across
the whole land.
It sparkled on the milky
moonlight, giving the old
willow tree a wooly gown.
Covering all the roofs,
the fields of corn and wheat,
the tall grass on the meadow.
But then she appeared,
sending fairies to dance on the
frozen lake thus melting the ice.
And with every step that she took,
snowdrops began to bloom.

"Catch a falling star
And put it in your pocket
Never let it fade away"

A well known verse we all know so well...yet you wonder why would I quote those famous words....hmmmm

I've been part of 3 major poet sites that has to this day affected the way I think and feel....the sites are still very much alive yet of the three two have had some major upheavals
My point in using these well known words is simple....

Each poet that has influenced my certain way of writing has touched me profoundly with their own unique way of writing

Yet there is always one person that always trys to control the trend or poem of the day

For me each poet and poetess
Are stars in my book...and each of them I have kept always in my heart where they will never fade away

And its thanks to my poet friends I now write the way I do...even if they know it or not their stars will forever shine in my heart

The beeping of a cement truck
can be heard outside our window

The sun peaks through the drapes;
boots covered in dirt dance
along the fevered pavement

You're in my arms, on your side;
your hair  is like fine layer of
mocha beans before my face

I catch a small whiff of it
before you turn around
and look me in the eyes

And it isn't long,
after I kiss you
and ask what you
would like to do today

before you interrupt
all movement
(outside and in)

with

'You smell like
old Chinese food
right now'.
