I love nature

It loves me back

Rain plays the music of nature

Bees hum its songs

Butterflies dance to nature's tune

Flowers bloom in the sun

They all make me smile.

Poetry
isn’t
always
about
cactus
giggling
under
raindrops
or raging
against
herbivory.
It’s the
art of
being
heard in
babbling
phases.
Devouring cigar after cigar,
with sad music playing
in the background,
and an old picture of you
glowing through my screen

What have I done so perfectly
to be trapped in
this heavenly lifetime
with your love?

I stare at your picture,
weeping from longing and love,
calling you,
wanting you,
yearning for a miracle that
would gather us
and breathe life
back into our love

What terrifies me is that
you are no longer here…
but I am going to ink your name
into my blood,
to keep you alive within me—
physically and mentally

I want to draw you on my skin
so I will never escape you,
never recover from you
So that each time
my eyes fall upon this tattoo,
etched just above my heart,
I am reminded that I belong to you…
even if you are unaware of it,
or choose to ignore it
or simply do not want it
And I am ready to die
a thousand light-years
for you

But before that,
I am on the verge of completing
all those acts lovers commit
when they defy every boundary
for the sake of love
And after this tattoo,
only one thing will remain—
publishing the book
I am now writing for you,

I love you now,
and in the afterlife

Your wife,

Through the dust, my mind still recites alphabets to the wind.
I wanted to learn every syllable I needed,
Every matrix that could build up ideas,
Every algebra I was born to solve.

Where I grew is the bedrock of ignorance.
The belief is that foreign knowledge will erase our heritage—
But it doesn’t.

I can solve many X's in my head,
But there’s not a single grain from my mother’s farm
I won’t multiply with immense profit.

The calculus I carry stands a chance at winning,
Yet I still crave the kind of knowledge
That builds roads, draws out buildings,
And makes every waiting child
Become another epitome of wisdom.

I just need a chance to prove I’m worth every trial.
I can face competitions meant to break me down.
And I will rise—
Because no one is born with knowledge.
We all grow to learn.
Education is a right now children should be stripped of...
