these are the luxuries money can't buy
these are the smiles clowns can't fake
these are the places cars can't reach
this is the kind of happiness death can't take

Like a cigarette, you **** slow.
I pull you tight against my lips.
You fill my lungs with smokes,
Damaging me inside, with each puff.
With the greed to have more,
I keep searching for you.
You are the deadly addiction,
That I need at nights before I sleep.
So blind in my desires, I can't see...
The warning of danger on the cover.

breakup letter

we both knew
that this was going to hurt
sooner or later
so stop crying
this love is a wound
that we kept on pretending,
kept lying to ourselves
was a battle scar
for a war
we've never even fought

I'll pack my bags
and stitch my wounds
so please, at least
have the decency
to tell me you didn't
really love me

at least, give me
a reason to sleep
after I've cried
rivers out of my eyes

lie for me
one last time
for old times sake
pretty please?

POETRY

And so she wrote about
the most exquisite pain
he caused;
the way he said 'i love you'
the way he kissed her
and then a bit later on,
the way he left with a simple 'sorry'

She wrote about every tears
that has been shed
and yet she wondered,
was it all that easy
was it worth it
was he worth it?

She told the world about him
She turned him into a poetry
And she wrote wholeheartedly
Hoping someone could understand
How cruel he was to break her

But deep inside, she wanted him
to read it out loudly
and finally find his way back to her
and she wanted to hear the phrase
'i love you', once again
but this time-
she wanted him to not tell her a lie

If meeting you was lucky,
I am the unluckiest person in the world.
I wish I'd never met you

I followed you to the river
Because you promised to keep me afloat.
We stopped at the deepest point
And you let me go
And I was sinking
Sinking
And I was drowning
Drowning
The last thing I saw
Was your face looking at me
Through the ripples in the water.

when my  "i love you"s
thrash against the cage
of my throat
i wonder who i am protecting:
you or me?

it's such a crafty thing
managing to escape
when i thought you couldn't hear me

tell me,
could you feel it in
the press of my fingers on your chest,
the heat of my tongue tracing your lips
?

i guess you could because
when morning came
you
were

*gone

I dance alone and countlessly wonder
if you're as confused as I am
I want to fall in love again
I want to find your gaze
and feel violated and connected
and be confused about what it is you mean
and what you mean to me
it's all some sultry dream.
I want your kisses again
I want you in my dreams again.
