Lost

You know you're in a total lost when you can't seem to put into words the thoughts that are hiding beneath you.

In the front of the computer, fingers on the keys, eyes on the screen, lips pursed, heavy breathing, yet it feels like you've just been paralyzed.

The reason behind this still lies a mystery for me.

Cause everyday it feels like I've been paralyzed yet I struggle to move, to move towards you even though there are no movements at all.

The intensity of the moment suspended
Rendered me speechless
My mind went numb
My heart went on overdrive
To compensate for it
Until eventually I croak out
A mangled whisper
Those three words.

They never seem to sound
Quite as I want them to
They never seem to hold
The same weight
They never seem to evoke
The same feelings
As hearing them
Being said with such certainty
By you.

I hope you still understand
I really hope you know
Just how much

I love you.

I love your eyes
and the way you look
into mine

I love your voice
and the words you use
to make me smile

I love your skin
specially when it's
against mine

I love your lips
and your kisses
every time

I love when you say
that you love me
more than I

I love the feeling
of your fingertips
through my spine

I love that with you
I can be myself
even though I'm shy

With you everything feels
like if I had met you
in another life

I love that you're tough
some might say the strongest
yet I've seen you cry

I love it when you say
that I'm yours
and that I can call you mine

I love that your name
is always
invading my mind

I love when you
call me beautiful
even though I think you lie

I love your hands
and our fingers
interwined

I love that
when I'm with you
everything seems to be fine

I love you
and I will
for the rest of time

spacedrunk
over filled radios
holy bedding &
i guess i'm yours now
phone me anytime
You told me to write this down
So I did.
It was the first thing you ever wanted to be permanent.

But a year later I found out you had scribbled it out
With a black Sharpie.

Now I’m left wondering just how permanent words are.
