the colors of lonely

Light grey rains that fall forever.
drenching me to the soul

White soft falling snow
endless and growing deeper.
Until it covers the world

Dark indigo blue nights
when the moon
Weeps in its sad memories.

The vapour of sea mist
On the foggy deserted oceans
with only the lost cry
of an unseen gull.

The red brick house
in its crescendo
of absolute silence.

A brown hope chest of dreams
that is full to the brim.

My red heart
on days like this one.
The thing I wear when I’m depressed.
The thing I wear under stress.
When I’m angry I go to the mask’s caress.
I cradle my emotions in a nest.
Only to later have them thrown off my chest.
But still I go back to the mask’s concealing crest.

The mask’s magic is deceiving
It convinces me that hiding my emotions brings healing.
But listen now, listen don’t wait!
If wear the mask you will have it’s fate.
Sooner or Later and don’t forget,
The mask will make you do something you’ll regret.

I found you
Found your arms in the secrecy of an encroaching dusk
In the shade of trees
The coveted corners of quiet
I found the hidden pieces of your soul
As they sat beside mine
In the comfort of silence
Whispering through the air promises of belonging
Of two broken pieces becoming a whole
Two unknowns becoming the known
Two wrongs finally becoming one right

You found me
As your delicate fingers ran across my skin
Laced through the curls of my hair
Carefully stitching the gaping caverns of suspicion in a doubtful heart
Placing together shattered confidences with a tender touch
Holding them firmly with the power of your affection.
We built each other as reflections of ourselves
As better forms of the shadows we'd learned to become

We found each other
With skin upon skin
Fingers entwined
A world away from the troubled minds we used to live in
We found each other
Together
We found peace
We discovered love.

unnamed
She was another heartless soul
wondering around waiting,
waiting for a love that would save her
from her imprisonment.
Deep, dead, shackled and hopeless
he had her captured,
another skeleton in the graveyard of the hearts he stole.

She was in love with a demon
in all his evil ways she couldn't stay away
she was a feign, for the pain
addicted to this love laced in cyanide.
He knew his power, consciously poisoning her spirit, stealing her innocence and manipulating her mind...

You carry words
In your belly-
Pregnant meaning

I read in awe
Raw emotion
Direct communication..

Avoid spilling
Into oblivion

Your beauty
Lights the world
Courage inspiration

I looked for love
In a bottle of *****
Spilling out my soul on everyone's tongue
They swallowed my love down their throat.
Calling it spit, they came to me with open arms
And smiles in their shy eyes making me believe I found love in a person with shy eyes
But I only loved how they smelt like alcohol when they whispered my name, or when they lifted up my shirt with hands full of bad intentions. Even the times I knew I shouldn't , I always did. I liked the way they watched me undress, like they wanted me. But only because I was stripping naked in front of them and guys like that just wanted to feel something. I thought I was loving people, but I was hating them, giving all my anger to them for pleasure only to find myself in the same spot
Falling in love
With a bottle of ***** dripping down my throat
