Bravery is not a trait to be learned,
but a decision that's yet to be made.
When standing against overwhelming odds
there's good reason to be afraid,

but despair does not ensure cowardice
and adversity does not equal defeat.
Every man still has a fighting chance
as long as his heart still beats.

Be always valiant and forever fearless
against what others may forewarn,
because the decisions made amidst catastrophe
are also when heroes are born.

The baker made a comment on the coconut cakes layers
The artist was enthralled with the flakes on top , referring
to them as being a winter scene ..
The engineer took notice of the glass cake plate with its
intricate etching and overall design
The mathematician gleefully broke the dessert into imaginary
sections
The poet grabbed the cake with both hands and devoured the
two pieces without reservation* ..

If you're really good I might let you see them, that is, if I can find the pointy-toed knitted pink preemie booties some coworker's wife gave my parents....

Suppose I'm but a nymph whose sprite in frail
Excuse wars, tangled by long cherished thence
Auld loves, and sorrows which I canna hence
Shrug off.  My father aye, and brothers hail
Me as so oddly wont to in betrayl
Don effervescence, whiles griefs own my sense
Of whither, glad to see this warm eye whence
These yellowed fields bask, dead, as if'd avail.
I dabble in the thought of Death as twere,
Like twould thus ransom me from here, though blue
Skies whisper to my soul of yonder fer
All that.  Yea, I hate aught, but love each too.
Or praps I hate myself cuz joy is poor
And crimnal, left a prisner, whence I rue.

how could I say no
principles
will principles help
will they stop
people from doing
the terrible things
they are so fond of doing
I don't know
is ****** the best solution
hate and fear is mostly ignorance
can't we teach a better way
probably not.

watch and see
what happens
when we drink
waters of denial

When you're at your lowest
you'll attract a few good people plus a few million
with evil intent* ....
