Silver you shine. Light years to you.
I'm small from here; I'll  make a wish when you shower.
"How do you know it's the end?"
She asks me through her tears.
It draws me back into the darkness,
Where I was faced blindly with my fears.
The scratching of heads;
The whimpers of voices;
The constant inconvenience;
And hobston's choices.

What kept me in that consistent loop?
Was it really comfort?
And what made me oblivious to your warped mind,
That did not value me or my effort?
The hatred, oh it's real!
But my heart somehow still broke.
You took with you more than our lifetime,
When you opened your mouth and spoke.

A new path was constructed.
And our moments slipped away.
Your absence became less obvious,
With the passing of every day.
But within me, past all my minds thoughts,
There is a feeling hidden deep down inside.
It dents my negativity and forgives all my regrets,
And it's the single reason I cried.

Because inside you, I seen potential,
For you to be loving, kind and true.
A man who could put others before himself,
My life partner, who would help me through.
And the darkness created that image.
Without light, I was blind.
I could not see your true colours,
Or the mask you hid behind.

Sometimes you allowed the light in,
And your beauty was something real.
You were more than that potential man,
And no hatred did I feel.

We had a future, though you did not believe it.
But that faded away with you.
I think it was all just for the better,
As your last words were the most true.

And now I'm standing before my reflection,
Asking myself how you know it's the end, for real?
And the answer is simple when you look at your surrounding,
Only to find, silence is all you really feel..

I take your hand
As we run though the rigged woods
Running feeling the dead trees crack
Beneath our feet

We stop by a small creek
You take me steadily in your grasp
As we walk further under a small dark bridge

You stop
You turn your head up
To look up at the moon

I feel you against my back
Searching for the stars

The cold winter breeze
Bites at my skin
But your body
Holds me warm

The gentle tickle of your breath against my ear Telling me of a story
The moon, the night, and the stars

When the wolves cry
The darkness sets
And across it all it shines bright

These are the moments
The moments I cherish with
You tonight

May the Lord embrace you
And keep you close
May His kisses rest on your face
And give you assurance of his Grace
That will never cease
To lay down with you
And push away your aloneness
So that His Peace can increase
Until life gives you release
Into His everlasting presence.
Amen.
A blessing for those who feel alone in their twilight years.  Numbers 6:24-26.

When the grey clouds roll in,
And the skies cannot stop crying,
I'll be there to hold the umbrella up high

When the mountains swim in peaceful white snow,
And flurries float down from above,
I'll be there with a blanket for warmth

When the flowers wilt in the summers heat,
And life itself longs to cease,
I'll be there to offer the water

For when the world is gloomy, dark, and dreary,
And I am at the lowest of the low,
I know you'll be there for me

When all is said and done,
And the darkness has finally ceased,
We'll be there rejoicing in heaven together.

See me

Seeded deeply

In rich soil

The wealth is knowledge of how to be loyal

This is the part of the movie where all the cards point to you losing me

This is the same moment the songs chorus plays

& I vow to love you always in all ways

This is when reality hits

That Tru love is a gift

Not one we acquire to exchange

The one we desire to forever remain

I have traced the lines drawn on your heart before me

Drawn so poorly

At first I thought poor me

Then I realized it was all in pencil

Faulty attempts to stencil

Not love but a sense of

These words are in ink

Place your hand over your heart & catch the beat

We're still in sync

Let your cup runneth over & flood the sink

We're on the brink

Soon the year will renew

Distance can't undermine My plan It's still connected to you

Each day when the moon breaks

& sends the sun to take its place

I close my open eyes & see your face

Every characteristic

Imperfect

Perfectly realistic

A reminder of the truth

That being made in his image requires loving from the roots... #trupoetry #trulove ❤️
When its real, it never fades. Being apart doesn't always mean being away.

His body was the scene of the crime that he was never permitted to leave

The home battlefield of a surrendered side shown no mercy by the aggressor

If he looks down for too long then the memory of ***** hands pressing on his throat and spreading his legs open return

There was nowhere he was safe

Impurity had burrowed under his skin

his insides had paid the price

I see an ocean in your eyes
I could sail til the end of time
Stare into your deepest blue
Where dreams have wept and love's untrue

On this empty night
I feel us share this heartbeat
You're many seas away
No distances can keep you away

Begging on my knees
The skies to show a purpose
No clouds just clarity
Someday it'll all be perfect
