When I'm with you, I feel like a child
Just like a wee little child
Whose very best friend is you

If you must ever leave me,
leave a trail of breadcrumbs
I'll make it to that place where you're leading me to

When I'm with you, I feel like a puppy
Warm and fuzzy, playful, trippy-jumpy
Whose very best friend is you

If you must ever leave me,
I'll be lost and sad and lonely
So I'll wait and wait and kiss your face when that day is through

When I'm with you, I feel like a posy
Sweet and fresh and in your hands
Who wants just to be held by you

If you must ever leave me,
I will wilt and shrivel away
So come tend me in your garden when the spring rosebud is new
...for my very best friend is you...
It's December, the cold weather is here.
I see ice blocks outside, and snow in the near.
It's Christmas time, Then New Years prime
2015 is a start of something fresh, brand new year.

Your dreams, are your reality.
You gotta believe in much more
  practicality and swag
new shoes and hand bags
Party tonight
Classy and bright

Let's throw a New Year's Party
Kiss some random cutie next to you
Midnight fever, mega ******
Jello Shots throughout the clock
To stay awake for New Year's Day
It starts today.

Didn’t I ever think to be authentic
collecting words, snapping photographs
exclaiming I am enamored with language and art

when honestly, I am merely a fraud
to what I love. My hands aren’t stained with ink,
my eyes aren’t trained to learn new techniques
paper is not my friend nor is a roll of film
tossing around in my bag of nonexistent records that
I actually love my hobbies.

I feel that I am not quite
an owner of my interests,
stealing passion from others and wishing
they were my own.
