Panic!
 Jul 2014 Manny
Luna Lynn
The walls are closing in
and the oceans just may be parting
only to surround the very small space
to engulf all of my being

The raging tides begin
and the perfect storm is just starting
in an attempt to drown in this wretched place
I have made my way across without seeing

The lightening strikes again
and the path to my lungs is hardening
my hands are worthless as they tremor and shake
I'm dying and you don't even believe me
This poem was another written from a list of topics I provided to fans on my Facebook page.  This current topic (panic attacks) was given to me by my friend and neighbor Jon Hicks. I've had panic attacks, and sometimes I still do.  They are the worst feeling in the world, and I hoped I succeeded in expressing that.

I love the way you're positive
And always lift me up
I cannot seem to comprehend
The way you're full of love.

I thought we all had our bad days
But you push though all of yours
You smile in so many ways
I love how your hope endures.

You're the best inspiration
That I've met in a long while
So many in your position
Saw joy as out of style.

I'm glad when I'm around you
You mean so much to me—
Everyone would say the same, too
That you're amazing, Bree.
Love you! ^_^

Chalsey Wilder
Burned with the evil fire of deceit and betrayal
Fallen angel tears spilt to put it out
Blood running down your body
Stitches that the cuts made
The scars they left behind show your shame
All that's left of your heart is the blackened ashes the fire left
All that's left of your body is the stitches and scars
All that's left of your ego is the shadow of your newfound shame
Blackened heart
Shadowed shame
Broken ego
And your body a reminder
*The ashes blew away and your blackened heart never healed back to a loving red...

Believers vs believers
A sign of judgement day
Spilling the blood of mankind
That is what the Lord forbade

The one being slaughtered
Is clueless as to why
A brother is taking his life
And the murderer also does not know the reason for picking up a knife

The state of mankind
Is beyond ******* up to be repaired
Long gone are the times when strangers cared
Every night is in competition with another to becomes the darkest and wildest

Next of kin worried about inheritance
And spouses taking out life insurance claims
The soul is bruised
But on a shell is placed a band aid

Fine wining and dining
Abundance leftovers in the bin
Whilst the neighbour starves
As people frolic in sin

Slaves giving birth to masters
Power in the hands of wrong
And those buried six foot under
Are suddenly the lucky one's

Knowledge decreasing
And ignorance on the rise
We compete in the construction of the tallest building
And mothers abandon their children

Beauty pageants
And *** selling cars
The ship of the world sinks
In broad daylight

Yet we un-fasten our seatbelts
And live by ride or die
Yolo people
Get an intoxicated high on a traitorous life

A year passes like a month
And a month like a week
Nothing remains but a name
Humans who massacred humanity

I believed in you.  My
Friend, just like my sister.
You broke it. You broke...
Me

The belief that all
Things happen for a reason
Confuses me, it doesn't work
The way you want.
You make your destiny

I believe that the future
Holds a path of good.
And bad
A path that only we can change
We sculpt it how we
Want it.
Are our lives already known?
Are we just living out other people's plans?
Is there such a thing as destiny?
Do we create our own destiny?
Can we sculpt our lives away from the plans we're given?
