Its as cold as ice and hard as stone; no positive emotions are radiating off of it.
The edges are sharp like a razor, ready to cut anything that comes it’s way.
When the light tries to shine over it, a darker shadow castes under it.
The shadow is so dark that people get blinded in the darkness.
You can feel the hatred and lust for vengeance from just looking its way.
When you turn around a soft voice tempts you to look back at it.
And when you do, everything goes black.

My heart is black
it has no reflection
but reveals my thoughts,
my pain and rejections.

My heart is black
and my blood runs cold.
I remember the past
back when I wasn't as bold.

My heart is black
my patience is thin.
Where are you God?
Why can't I win?

My heart is black
yet your light shines.
The cure for my darkness
sent from the heavens divine.

My heart is black
but our friendship grows.
I see the light
come on lets go.

Burned with the evil fire of deceit and betrayal
Fallen angel tears spilt to put it out
Blood running down your body
Stitches that the cuts made
The scars they left behind show your shame
All that's left of your heart is the blackened ashes the fire left
All that's left of your body is the stitches and scars
All that's left of your ego is the shadow of your newfound shame
Blackened heart
Shadowed shame
Broken ego
And your body a reminder
*The ashes blew away and your blackened heart never healed back to a loving red...
