The day came when my pen no longer
Wrote your name
Freedom
Comes in many forms

In this world,
Friends and enemies are about a right timing or a bad timing,
Or because there wasn't time at all.

Tiny wooden box.
Footprint on the rocks.
Whispers to the soul,
Long forgotten goal.

Where was I my friend?
When your life did end.
Hidden in the illusion,
Drowned in the demons confusion.

Be patient and open thy arms.
Soon I will return to your charms.
The path is dreaded and weary,
For of this world I'm found dreary.

Oh but the forgotten times
We were partners in crime.
The ragged heart searches
Remembering songs of churches.

The times in the hills
Buried by too many pills.
The happy dancing squills,
To this day my heart kills.

The day soon shall be,
By my side so much glee.
Let the dirt to the side move,
And from this world remove.

But A Dream

A year has passed,
and I am still writing
poems—pleas—for her

Three years,
and my stubborn heart
still yearns for hers

It has been so long,
and I fear I may have
dreamt you, dear one

The blue sky is my canvas
Until the canopy of the night
Then my brushstroke
Become comet tails
An astroid field of flight

No language in my dream
No limits of the tongue
My flights of mindfulness
Has only just begun

love unconditionally
love limitlessly
love infinitely
love with every inch of your being
and keep loving for as long as you live
even if you get nothing at all in return
be the one that gave everything you could,
not the one that took everything they had
No one’s ever gone
until forgotten

Their memory etched
like words in stone
