♡ The wasted years
The wasted youth
The pretty lies
The ugly truth ♡
And the day has come where
I have died only to find
♡ I have come alive

with this verse.

Hello my sombre little soul,
How do you do?
Let’s go chasing horizons,
Just me and you.

I’m broken yet you say,
my tar filled mess stays sweet
Come, my beautiful, let us run,
To where the clouds and the ocean meet

I don’t know you
So please can you stay
In my pretty little heart of horrors
Give it a heartbeat, as you may

Throw your darts, three in total
Two in the eyes and one for luck
Let me forgive, and then forget
His truths and lies, a penny for a buck.

Let us find a diamond dream
Come sailor, just you and me

Upon my suffering, you may lay
I don’t know you
So please, can you stay?

Baby eyes, porcelain minds
To my flesh, your memories bind
Of how your lips, your lips so sweet
So softly, with my neck they meet
And your body, pressed to me
The puzzle piece, how I see

And your breath, that bitter smoke
My sombre pretty heart, that you broke

Is this love, your tainted question?

I remember you
Your glazed eyes, your empty smile
Your slumped shoulders, your blank mind

I remember you
A whisper of freckles, a hint of warmth
Beneath those porcelain cold lips

I remember you
Once a roaring flame of a soul
Then merely a splutter of what once was

I remember how you flew
With the wings only you could see
Your arms spread wide
Neither a branch nor twig to collide

I remember the sky that day
A crimson hue of jasper’s tongue
And in that shadowing sight
The darkness overtook your glorious light

I’m sorry I can only remember you
And how you used to sing
But oh how the memory shines!
Shine on, shine on, shine on.

In the shadows there is talk
Of love leaked in gleams
Of pipes that the whispers sought
In the pale moon’s seams

Behind locked doors she kills
Her doll’s lips cracked raw
Dreams choked with green dollar bills
Chaos beckons, her lonesome law

And yet in front of you she smiles
A smile so tender and warm
You wouldn’t know she lay for miles
A bitter peroxide spike being born

She knew of the world, she knew of people
Savages at their very best
Hiding inside their church’s steeple
Their guns well and truly blessed

She could tell you of the light
And how it cast its illusions
For light, it blinded with a painful bite
And they thought of how it blissed of infusion

She sparked too soon
She burned too bright
And in the end,
She was darkness.
