I like how the universe works;
How each day you wake up
To witness the sun rise
To witness the sun set
But somehow even if you watch it every day
It’ll amaze you in many different ways

I like how the universe works;
How the trees stand still
For hundreds and hundreds of years
Enduring all the pain nature can give
To take in the air you don’t need
In exchange for the air that you breathe

I like how the universe works;
How out of the billions of people
Living on earth
I meet you, to see you,
Continuously rising and falling
Yet you still shine the brightest
And I’m still amazed at everything you are

I like how the universe works;
How out of the billions of people
Living on earth
I meet you, to take in all my hurt
And all my tears
As you give me the purpose of my life
To love you with all my heart, soul, and body

I like how the universe works;
How you can be my sun
How you can be my tree
How you can be
The only one for me
How I can be the most imperfect human
But still,
You choose to love me

I hate dreams
All the bad ones
But especially the good ones
The good ones wherein you and I,
You and I,
Are happy.

I hate how those dreams
Make me feel
Like there’s a chance
Between you and I,
When really,
There’s just none.

I hate how in those dreams
I can laugh my heart out
I can say how much I love you
And you’d be saying it back

Because after that one great adventure
With you,
I wake up
And it’s just me
And my empty inbox
That used to be filled with the surge of your words

Another regular day of trying
Trying and trying and trying
To finally say
That I’ve moved on;
That I’m over it

Early in the morning
But instead of opening my eyes
I force them shut,
Turn off the world
Because maybe,
Just maybe,
I could dream again
And there I would find,
You and I
Have you ever had those extremely weird dreams wherein everything feels like real life? lol anyway hello to my 3rd poem

You
I don’t know but
I always find you

I always find you
When I’m thinking
About how to design my nails
Once the holidays start

I always find you
When I’m baking
My favorite cookie,
Thinking of the one you made for me
And how it still wins
The best cookie award

I always find you
When I watch my favorite show
And how I used to watch it with you

I always find you
When I look at my sister
Because you loved her
Like how I do

I always find you
When I’m left with my thoughts
Thinking how wonderful it is
To have met someone like you
That even if we’re far apart
Even if we’ve said our goodbyes
Even if you’ve moved on with your life
In my heart,
I will always find you
Hanging Ropes

                     Mine heart
                   A solitary room
But of shadows and redundant dust

                      Mine heart
       You've set on a play Judas dart

           The forbidden walls
       Your hanging cute portrait
Every glimpse of you,is a vision doom

               You're killing me
          But the deeps inside me
    Of where sorrowful blood flows
            You pause my pulse

      You leave me with hanging ropes
          You're an aeronaut
You make me fly but with froozen feet

              I'm comfortless
You've brimmed my soul with tormenting maggots
But I shall lie in peace on these ropes,a piece.
