sadness
it surrounds me
darkness
it follows me
uneasiness
tries to consume me
the fight is tough
the urge to give in is strong,
easier
but
strength builds character
certainty produces confidence
this war can be won
the crusade towards happiness
is closer than once
imagined

Third Legacy
'Tick-tock', says the clock
You're too late

But he knew to himself
that he could never be early
and could have never been

But he only knew this
when the clock had chimed

It's time to go
she said

though it sounded more like

It's time to say

                                                    Goodbye

he didn't hear
for she
had deafened him
with the sound of
her voice

he gave her a broken smile
and a stare that would last forever

will this be the last?
he asked
knowing this was the first

he knew she loved him too
in his dreams
at least

Once upon a time
I called out your name
Once upon a time
I danced with you in the rain
Once upon a time
Your lips melded with mine
Once upon a time
Just a memory laid to rest

My mind is like
An out of tune guitar
Making senseless sounds
In a crowd

September
you said you wanted my lips
and i laughed at the way you worded it
and the way you thought
you didn't have them already.
almost as if
we haven't been speaking
our entire lives.
almost as if
you weren't even listening
to every word i gave to you

Mr X
Maybe there resides a phoenix in you...
Yes YOU,
You, who tried to cut the veins and paint your hands red,
You, who finally decided to just give up on your life.
Maybe inside you there rested a piece of hope,
A hope that tells that Death brings peace,
And giving up, solves all your humane problems....
Is it because of this hope or this phoenix,
That we ordinary humans often end up destroying ourselves...
Sometimes unknowingly,
And sometimes knowingly...like you did.

The truth has always been
From destruction comes life...
But you were never the phoenix you so much longed to be...
You were in fact, just another container for petting it's soul.
From your destruction, there'll never be a new life....
You've just ended up in planting the phoenix in our souls.
