I gave my Gold to my King,
He rejected it with a venomous sting.
I gave my Diamond to my Queen,
She treated it as though it was something unclean,
I gave my Ruby to my Prince,
His reaction only made me wince.
I gave my Sapphire to my Princess,
Her reaction was  by far the worst.
I gave my Silver to the court jester,
His treatment of it was no better.

Saddened, alone and let down,
I quickly left the castle ground.
I found a Pauper on the street,
And laid my jewels down at his feet.
He smiled at what he saw,
Perhaps because  he found in them no flaw.
He gathered them & held them close to his chest,
At last! I'd found someone who'd appreciate them best.

Rain…
Down…
Hear the sound of my voice as it
Pounds…
Out…
In the rain hear the words as they
Are…
Now…
Mere reminders of who we once
Were...
And how…
There is no time left waiting for
Us…
Now…
So as the voices of rain ever fall
Down…
Would you honor me with your
Reply?
Now?

The cold end of a moonless night
I was drifting in a graveyard
Where the stones spoke of who rested there;
“Loving Son”, “Dear Mother”, “Veteran”, “Beloved Child”.

I was drawn to a tombstone marked “Unknown”.
The burden of being buried without the
Comfort of a name weighed heavy on me as the
Sky lit softly, pushing back the darkness.
And I knew it was time again to slip beneath
The nameless stone where I must wait for night to call me up
And I can search until I find enough tears shed for me
To equal those I caused.

Now is
what
never is.
Can't you see it?

Now is just
a suspension,
the bend before
the wave,
not the flow
nor the wave
but
the suspended
breath
of a perpetual
motion.

Winter is here.
Its romantic
******,
frozen death,
nights that linger.
Yet,
arms crying
into windy skies,
trees carry
a pregnancy,
sprouts
like a plague
ripping
every branch.
Oh yes,
spring
is coming.

Now is never.

Quietly,
silently,
let us watch
as time bends,
unfolding
what was
and what
for sure
will be.
Quietly,
silently,
let us ride
that bend
and know
that
never
is now.

It's better I give
While life's within;
The situation's
Sin-win-win-sin.
I must appear as an altruist,
But scratch, you'll find a hedonist.
And so I give more than receive,
The pleasure's in giving,
I'm not deceived.
Been one all along;
It feels right to be wrong.
Admittedly so.
I'm a hedonist.
I amass such joy
Reaping the benefits.
Does that sound humanitarian, or,... Christian?

stringing words

together and pour

my feelings and

thoughts out. letter

by letter, but the

people who caused

all this will never know

If you have ever written a poem you realize
i wrote this title before developing a poem
I had no theme or outline pre prepared
no grand vision just this
ditty running in and out my head
it sort of worried me until
I just had to chronicle her
type her out and email her
share her everywhere
so happy people the we'll
say well adjusted happy people
or just my partner in nether world
feels indebted enough
to plus
or ignore or propose
I give up poetry
for ever.
Anyhow any ways
the smile cannot
be erased from my face
the jiggle in my belly
goes on and on forever
