Does anybody know the time?
Thanks, but a.m. or p.m.?
We sent Romer out for beer
Has anybody here seen him?
He’s got our money and my car
Doesn’t it seem like a long time?
Or am I losing track of things here
And all my reason and rhyme?

Put another song on, guys
I am sick of the Grateful Dead.
I’m thinking it’s all the same song
Running right through my head.
Freakin’ Truckin’ making me crazy.
I like the song but jeez, guys
There must be another one
You can find one if you try.

Does anybody know the time?
Thanks, but a.m. or p.m.?
We sent Romer out for beer
Has anybody heard from him?
He’s got our money and my car
Doesn’t it seem like a long time?
Or am I losing track of things here
And all my reason and rhyme?

It seems like a few hours ago
Just hours of Hotel California;
The Eagles singing loud, us too.
Dancing, nearly getting a hernia.
And didn’t someone say something
About some tacos and some guac?
If I don’t get something to eat soon
I’m going to get up and try to walk.

Does anybody know the time?
Thanks, but a.m. or p.m.?
We sent Romer out for beer
Has anybody heard from him?
He’s got our money and my car
Doesn’t it seem like a long time?
Or am I losing track of things here
And all my reason and rhyme?
All I can remember though is the taste-- skin and sin and the way you made me shudder your name, oh god, such fire.
But maybe it wasn't enough, because as much as I loved the burning, maybe you just felt the aftermath.

Was my love the taste of ash to that archaic soul of yours?
You love your smoke though, breathing in my burning.

Baby, I'm a moon and you were a killer asteroid that left craters with the immensity of your short lived love.

But the hurting never felt so sweet.
We were born to die.

Ryla
idle, shiftless, indolent
not a care in the world
a white oblivion
of simple, peaceful, blissful
nothing

looming, threatening, impending
charged with energy
electricity just
hours away
gray consciousness
and lazy days

hair-raising, spine-chilling, nerve-racking
strikes of pure shock
mother nature’s roars
reverberating off the blackened firmament
drops of liquid vigor
crashing to the ground

Close your eyes
Take a deep breath
Let it out
Open you eyes
Look them straight in the face
Tell them you love them
Walk away without turning back*

If the person you love is making you feel like you're being held underwater for an ungodly amount of time, here's your sign. Do yourself a favor and let go. It doesn't matter how much you love them because I guarantee they don't love you as much as you love them. They don't care about you as much as you care about them. They're a leech, ******* out every ounce of energy you have left. You don't need them. If it hurts more to tell them you love them than it does to think about what it would be like if you lost them, you need to let go. You need to rip yourself off them like a bandaid. It's going to hurt, but you'll be okay. As a matter of fact, you'll be better off than you were. I promise.*

The mirror is silent
The room startled
In an altered state
Everything familiar
dissimilar
Would I hear more if
This one was mine?
If in this mirror this one is reversed
And I am stunned
Is the me beneath this face
Before the glass
As shocking in the familiar
As it is empty before me now?
It was Twilight

Baking in the sand dunes of The River

                    Birds Chirping, Setting Sun, Golden

I couldn’t imagine how I could ever give it up

                          What’s happening to me?

I cherished and guarded it with all my might

until you came into the scene

                        You broke my defenses, How?

                        Not sure how it happened

                        Just caught in the current

                              Its all yours

                              And yours mine

A day without you seems like millennia

                                Here I am

                          Caught in the current
For a colleague staff who finally found someone to love.  (HCL ) London Ontario
I'm trapped in my tower
Begging to be free
Oh, where is my knight
Who'll come rescue me?

I bide my time
By the window in vain
Oh, where is my knight
When will he come again?

I'm trapped in my tower
Of self loathing and doubt
Oh, where is my knight
It's his name I call out

I'm losing my mind
In my tower so high
Oh, where is my knight
I'm tempted to fly

*I was trapped in my tower
But now I am free
I lost my knight
And now he's lost me..
