I'm afraid I lost your affection in last night's sheets,
Along with your blunt words of love,
That were drowned in beer bottles,
And stuffed into ripped-off clothes.

Now, this may be the death of us,
And with scythes He will take you away,
And to put this quite bluntly, Darling,
He won't comfort your petty mourning.

smile like you can't breathe
smile like you can hear
smile when you call me love
smile when you're here

smile when you can
smile if you dare
smile with me
smile if you care

sometimes it is hard to smile
you may have to fake it for a while
but sooner or later, it will become real

just like the feeling for you i feel.
To follow a fox into the night is a tale of leafy footsteps,
rattled by the wind.
Warning bells and silent hells but who am i to tell the difference.

Noir, Noir,
a followers eyes tremble in the sight of just a tail.
Hungry wolves await the fool,
now isn't that foxy?

Be as wise as a serpent, but as harmless as a dove, because devilish tricks linger below thee above.

A butterfly
On the stem of a leaf.
A child with a net
And a small glass jar.
Outcome undetermined,
Many do escape.

My ink may run
as black as coal,
as dark as
a dark night
of the soul.

Or flow red hued
like the morning sky;
as red as love,
or red man's blood
on hard-baked clay.

Yellow ink hues
my many suns,
my moons
the color of
dry bone.

Blue-inked waves
may wash my
blues away,
or sing the blues as blue
as muddy waters.

Gray ink clouds
on a fog-shrouded
empty highway
take me from here
to the Blue Ridge
mountains.

White-capped sailors
sail the arctic
as lost as
my white ink
on a blank page.

A tongue misplaced in heart
Kissing the wrong scars
              From the start

Scars not visibly marked
Rather emotionally arched
             Through Personality

Hurry beautiful tongue
              Swiftly Dart
Catch these scars
Create them into art
we all flow through life like rivers
here and there, crested glimmers
sun shimmered
atop waves once ripples
at last glance of this looking glass..?
men surely shivered

locked in depths of mind
where feral thoughts blind
binded by
"my" mentality

the self is selectively obsessive
malevolent
eloquent
evident
in heaven sent temperament

I.

I..

I...

can do no wrong..

can do no wrong.

can do no wrong!

those with bias
revel in personally pious thought
a myriad of self destruction

pompous contemplation
decimates civilization

we all flow the same way
we all ride the same wave
once a ripple from a stones throw
bound to glimmer when we all flow
