Enjoy it.
Make sure you do.
You shut your eyes, and then it flew.
Watch beautiful youngsters on T.V.
Seems miles away.
From where you're at now.
The bubbly young beauty became an aged cow.
Think on.
One day before you know it.
You'll find you are me.
Your perfect face will crinkle.
Marking where you smiled.
Your carefree attitude will enhance responsibility.
All kind of funny honey.
Coming of age is delightful.
Being over age is frightful.
The greying of the hair.
It's in need of tender loving care.
Have to dye it regularly
The only joints of interest,
Are not the ones you used to smoke.
Your hips get rather clicky.
Your knees are much the same.
Precious sleep, almost a ***** word.
Sleep, well that is just a stroke elusive.
If I'd known what ageing was all about.
I may have given up the game.
~X~
It has it's benefits you know.
You acquire memories and experience.
Birth children if you're lucky enough.
So no matter how much I moan and groan.
It's really not that rough.

Stormy darkness emerges from your wide open eyes .
Dark clouds are coming.
The whistling wind of your words is druming in my ears.
Planes of tears pouring on unshakable ground.
You put on today dress woven with rain drops
and gloves sewn from fog.
Sky-blue color of your eyes transfigured in livid.
I see no difference between night and day.
Let disappear's your loud anger.
I would like to see the horizon and sun.
The heavens melted with the ground.
I hear the noise of too bluntly spoken words.
I'm ready to scream with fear of lightning of your complaints
but this is not middle of the night to wake up someone.
Storm and leaden sky reigns in the valleys and on the hills,
do not let to sleep at night.
You go too far, my love.
Time for me, I need to intercept umbrella.
Your noon blue eyes catch the open horizon.
Moss green and hedgerow, we lie as the
sun bursts, exploding from behind your body.
Thin cotton whispers off your thigh,
our voices are woven into the sound of the reeds.
The thin air quivers a shoal of oak leaves
breathless, the grass is spun to gold.
Have you ever realised
How much you notice
When you really start to look.
When you really open your eyes.

You notice the girl
Who wears short sleeves
Exposing her cuts and scars
To the world

You notice the boy
Who is late for school every morning
And hardly eats anything
During the day

You notice the girl
Who always wears long sleeves
Who you hear rumours about
Who holds a handful of pills

You notice the boy
Who talks too loudly
And laughs too often
Yet always looks sad when he is alone

You open your eyes to yourself
You realise that this happy lie
The life you've been led to believe
Is really a cruel and sorrowful place

jimmer
There are tears in my eyes
Threatening to spill.
An empty,  broken part of me
I desperately need to fill
Torn between love and hate
My world is crumbling
Is there a better fate?
My voice cracking
With each word spoken
So many thoughts attacking
My already feeble heart
Feeling so incomplete.
We're on the verge of falling apart.
It's killing me inside
The secret you
The one you try to hide
You're drifting away
Like the oceans tide
I no longer have words to say
would have been unbearable
but for
our beliefs and assumptions!
