i fell in love with those nights we spent
chasing the sunset in your old silver jeep
with the windows rolled down, our favorite songs
playing on the radio and the smell of
opportunity in the fresh evening air

it’s moments like these that remind me
how lucky i am to be alive.

      -   and with you.

Hearts are held hostage

To love once a year

Forced to remember

The one they hold dear

With chocolates and roses

And heart-shaped assortments

Afraid to be lonely

In love with that fear
love is the sweetest seed
you'll ever plant in a heart
to make it enduringly flourish
tend it well from the start

love's blossom shall grow
into a beautiful array
an exquisite rouge rose
cherished for its display

Valentine the perpetual
gardener of endearedness
cares with a loving touch
profound in true closeness
Being human means viewing the way we all knowingly treat chickens and hens as "humane"
Valentine's Day is how the mifflewarts expunge your good happy.
It dwells in the innermost fleem.
It has no fortunate rodentia, but scampers oblong
into  a sideways dream.
Lip-bitten. Our kites collapse in come-aparts to go *****.
prone upon the earth of our dim Ding*
when the Clock was gargling
Always.
I just laughed at myself so bad, my stomach hurt.

Not because of the humane chicken thing....just wanna clarify.

Once I had these words afloat
They seemed to gain
A life of their own
They straggled along
A rivers edge
Into a field
And never left
The urge to find
The perfect scene
Of tulips buttercups
Everything
Like crystal flows of sparkling
Water straight out
The mountains tops
Like fluffy clouds
All gay so free
Like all that was
Once a mystery
Like lips they spoke my name
In angel tongue so virginally
Amazed I could
But admire she
That muse that
Doth inspire me.
I should have said Bad ***
To the Wampanoags
