a dainty blue butterfly
did pirouette all day

echoes
of a love past
reverberate
in his heart
in the empty corridors
of his melancholic mind
he reflects
on the silent
void she left behind
of days when their
love did chime and peal
bereft his soul
is of her tender feel

Autumn adorns the universe,
Into a transitional seasonal display,
Preparing for a whimsical change,
Upon evergreen trees, in rouge and ember shades.

Lavishly, shedding slowly,
Into a fusion of tones, leaving embellishing grounds,
Bearing naked branches,
As they casually toss down.

Stroking their leaves, and sending colorful hues,
Like a genuine piece of tapestry,
Beautifully interlacing,
And harvesting, 'neath the suns abundance of energy.

fecund and fertile the fields are now
the spring time sun cascades and endows
sprouting colored blooms on the flower stems and trees
who's floral show is made to please
dales and dells graced with spring glories
birds twittering their pretty stories
speechless eyes cannot believe
the paintbox of hues they perceive
spring is such a stunning time of the year
attired in a florid palette so vividly clear

a blue parchment sky
reigns over our bush terrain
brilliant is its hue

The ebony skies
Pose a parade of crystals
Blinking through the night

At night, in the midst of silence I cry myself to sleep,
Thinking about the heartache you've caused me,
And wish I could disappear,
Into the bottom of the sea.

And hide away,
Because without you,
Life feels empty,
And the days appear quite blue.

Since I can't hold you,
In my arms anymore,
Like the innocent child, I held long ago,
And my heart only pours.

But I hope one day, we could build a foundation,
That will bring us back together,
In perfect harmony,
And be reunited forever.
