When ink kisses paper
Leaving his marks on her
Staining her Immaculate white
Corrupting her innocent purity
With unspoken words and lines,
Punctuated with figurative styles,
Embedded with phonetic rhymes
Of divine charismatic beauty;
Sweet poetic lyrics are born...*

today is the day that
Christ has given us a hope.
everything we do is
foundationed on His love
that was expressed,
triumphantly,
in the greatest of glories
today.
He has beaten the only thing we thought was inevitable
He has conquered the 'one fact of human life'
He has shown us, we are unlimited,
because our patron, our guiding hand,
Our Father,
is someone who is unlimited-
and He has guided us
all for His glory,
that we may believe-
no one but Christ would endure what He endured,
only for me,
and no one but Christ could rise from the grave.
Lioness, she
unsheaths claws
Tongue and teeth and flesh,
All yours,
Prey devoured,
She-cat
Roars.
Taunt, firm, ***** and pleasing fair
and warm amidst the cool night air.
A drop of breast milk is expressed
to please the one who loves it best.
He who waits with undisguised pleasure
to **** upon it at his leisure.
Relax, this is no **** spawned prattle
Just baby Rob and his Two A.M. bottle.
Oh, those sleepless nights!
You are not who I thought you were
You are not what I wanted you to be
You are not what you claimed
You are not your promises

*You are but the lies you told
I’ll call it a day when I die.
I’m the boss, I don’t plan to retire..
As long as there’s breathe in these lungs
I’ll sing till my body’s past tired.
For music’s a sweet occupation.
and mine is a lyrical line.
From a quote by Tony Bennett and dedicated to that master of the craft
I think you will find
That dating a poet
Is no waste of time.
An ardent poet
will transport you-
with flights of fancy
he will court you.
His catalogue of
All your graces
wll put fond smiles
on knowing faces.
And, if you are
Not so inclined,
Who better
to forlornly pine?
A poet on a string
Who’ll send you verse?
You might do better-
But you could do worse.
A tongue in cheek rejoinder to the poem of the day
For you, I'll shed a tear
To you, I'll say, "my dear"
But ONLY if you'll dare
To show me that you care!

In words, for you I'll die
In deeds, to you I'll lie
'Cos much as I may try
My love will make you cry!

But there is One so pure
Your tears, His love will cure
He'll hang upon a cross,
To gain your love and trust!

He'll bare unspoken pains
To free you from your chains
With a kiss, He was betrayed
But still, for us He prayed!

Don't take the cross for granted.
Don't ever fall in love with a poet
because they will indeed admire and watch your every move
they will write about how the pen marks on the side of your palm when you write
don't ever because they will trace
every single freckle you have on your face and
write about the color of each and every one of them and
describe how they smile so brightly under the sunlight
they will want you to want to know every little thing about them
even if it's just what hand they write with and want you
to be wondering why they write with that specific hand when in
reality it doesn't even matter

the poet will watch the way you dig
your eyes onto that book and your small quick remarks onto the 26 letters all crumpled together and will know that everyday at 5:28 p.m. you smile

they will look deeply into your eyes
to see if they can at least take a little
peak of your soul and they will write
about you like if you were the only
thing they see good in this world

they will want to know what you think
about when you look at them and
see if you also count each and
every freckle and hope and write
that you do but they will
love you endlessly and they will
show you that they love you and only you

but don't date a poet if you aren't
capable to watch them and
admire their imperfections
when they sleep late at night
beside you.
