There's a storm inside me
it starts every time I hear your laughter in the night,
when I think about the way we changed
from human beings
to some people who can only share
some words written on a cold page;

it's hard to explain how is it that I miss you
when I've never really had you in the first place
and you wouldn't understand
you see
your heart has long forgotten about feelings like these.

still

I hear your voice calling my name
I see you before my eyes
even in my dreams I write you in bleeding lines
and in my waking hours
your smile brings raindrops in my coffee
and tears on the shirt I wear
because once you said that you liked it;

spring brings tulips at my doorstep
but it's hard to feel their perfume
to let their scent in my broken lungs;

people tell me that all I have to do
is breathe

but it's hard to breathe without crying.
she moves on the canvas like a snow leopard on ice
she dances her supine spine in feline pandiculations
yawning and purring she is proud of her lithe and languid form
the language of chaos and information
no casualties waiting here, just movement and inclusion
if you are truthful please steep yourself in her waters
let it all be washed away and renewed again
as minutes pass i feel fragrant offerings cast before the sun
dawn is here again and i am still young
a choice to make or break every day, again and again
Knowing smiles,
and playful eyes,
dancing into the night
with words rushing past
satin lips overflowing
into small,
but meaningful silences.
A light beckoning in the world,
to wait,
appreciate,
its singular illumination,
turning this place
more interesting,
and investing in all the
right places.
In these silly, same,
but so different games
we confess ourselves fully
in actions unveiled,
but tip-toe when
speaking, lest the gravity
of it all come crashing
through our lips.
Reaching out across the stars,
we've had to fight since birth,
so that our burning avatars
could unite our lights on earth.

Arms raised not to withdraw
beneath the crying horizon,
a closing coup de grĂ¢ce
where a shattered moon is rising.

Towards one another we race
with no space left to divide
the endless dancing embrace
of two worlds that finally collide.
i dream of the sea,
whispering like a wild cloud,
stretching the blue air.
Children of the moon
Sisters of sorrow
Fathers of desperate times
We all feel so alone
In our feelings of home
In our hand made tombs
That grow into castles
of solitude
As today turns
into tomorrow
The living walk with
the ghost of the dead
For the dead have moved
on and live outside
of the fears of tomorrow
The sand on the shore
greets the mist and the wave
and welcomes the passing of time
And knows that nothing today
will be quite the same
under the fleeting weight
of tomorrow
So why don't we
put down our clocks
and let go of the worries
from sorrow
and climb down from the moon
We are not so alone
if we share
the hearts of our homes
over conversation and tea
and build new kingdoms
in our words of tomorrow
He hung himself from a rope
he made of  the silver lining
from the cloud he filled
with his dreams of her
And he died with a smile on his face
stained by the tears of regret
for the love he never spoke of
