Fervorous rain did
Clothe land with thick water sheets;
Clinging and stifling.

When the sun glowed warm with brighter sheen
The Earth that lay inert in drunken sleep
Woke up suddenly to greet the glorious dawn
Casting aside the blanket of fluffy wool

Beams of light thawed and melted the icy crust
Leaving the land, bare, bright and new
A clean slate for life to make a fresh start
And give our Earth a lovely face lift

As winter slouched away in staggering steps
Spring, came down gracefully on dancing feet
Like an ingenious wizard with the Mida’s touch
Turning everything into glittering green n’ gold

So awesome it is to watch with widening eye
The first burgeoning of life with the kiss of spring
Every tree n’ every shrub, dressed in sudden sprout of leaves
And every plant and every bough bursting into newer buds

Daffodils on wayside nodding in blooms of gold
Pansies and daisies springing close to passing heels
The laburnum and lilacs, getting ready to burst into bloom
Flowers yellow, red and blue on every fence and field

Butterflies flitting round and round on colorful wings
And exotic blooms in gentle breeze swinging their heads
The birds that ere migrated to warmer climes
Coming back once more to fill the aerial space

Sparrows merrily twittering around tiled eaves
The robin springing, throwing a livelier note
The lark disappearing into the sky of fleecy clouds
The swallows shooting out into giddy heights

The feathered minstrels, filling the air in riotous rings
And Nature covering the Earth in quilts of lovely designs
Lovers leave their fireside hearths and coming out
To ramble through country paths, hand in hand

Oh! Spring has come to wipe away the frosty tear
And fill the hearts with overwhelming cheer
Let us join this array of happy crowd
And sing a song of joy with this mirthful brood

I don't need this cold
I feel
in between the numb and dull
aches
pains
the way the universe expands
shotgun in my mind
she is

she twists me up in the fabric of time

how to suffer fate
omit
we're becoming nothing anyways
arrows
slings
the way of the moon and the tides
straight-blade razor sharp
she is

she makes me live forever

there could have been nothing
her voice sails over my prayers of gratitude
I was empty all this time
and never really was
she takes my hand
she twists me up in the fabric of time
accidents waiting to happen
her voice is my prayer and the first word I spoke
I was silent all this time
waiting to begin
the way she smiles
she makes me live forever

Driven out from your dark corner
everything feels in a disorder
i'm guessing that your comfort zone
was just a grey zone
fulfilling nothing but pleasing
untitled, meaningless desires.
Life you say is grey too but at that assumption
you forgot about black and white
you forgot the vigorous emotions
that made you feel alive.
But don't forget you are human not some narcissistic being
pretending drama, craving attention.
No matter who you are you do not know
what kind of man you've become
until the very end.

Beautiful were your eyes as the unclouded heaven
beautiful was your heart like the starlit evening
but when you had to humble your pride
the spell of silence fell from you,
your counteraction was as one slain at once
by bliss and grief.
Even if you could not pass through that peril
even if the tidings of your loss had not yet gone forth
and the bastion of your feelings hurled with a ruinous outcome
you could have talked to me, you could have asked for my help.
I wish you knew...

A bitter taste i have as the flavor of your lips is gone,
alone and cold i feel as the warmth of your hug
is nowhere to be found, but knowing of your
great exertion i gain strength and i admire you!
You are trying for a good cause and there is nothing else
i'd like to see. You lead my path through the darkness
and i'll make my effort to whatever ends.
I can see now why our hearts beat in this eternal struggle,
for each piece taken from the board another is placed upon it.
Back and forth we go, across the world, across the ages.
Some days my struggle feels like an impossible task
but i can not be consumed with doubt. There are other
poeple i love too and at some point they might need me more
than ever. So i will make an effort and overcome the burden
of my heart but don't worry i promise you.
I promise you i'll be there for you as to any person i call family.
I'll be there for your love can never be retaliated!

Do I remember too much about
The strangers I meet?
There was the skinny seven year old at the
Park in Detroit, who I learned liked autumn
And colorful leaves, pumpkins and Halloween,
Scarecrows and working in the garden.
There was the Japanese lady at the
Hotel breakfast in DC, calmly eating a donut,
Staring off into space, gracefully lost in her own
Thoughts and feelings.
There was the happy man at the
Veteran’s home, who talked gratefully to me
About his experiences, desperate to
Share his story.
There was the single mother on
The park bench, allowing me, a total stranger,
To watch her children while she took
A much needed nap.
There was the black man at the
Movie theater, who offered me his
Extra bag of popcorn and made sure I knew
When the jump scares were.
Do I remember too much about
The strangers I meet?
I don’t think so.
Appreciate humanity,
Because you never know when it might be gone.
Each one of these people were beautiful,
In their own way, and they weren’t even
Trying to be.
They were just living their lives,
And I was fortunate enough to be a part of them
For a short time.
You know why they were beautiful?
Because they just were.
