I lie here staring at the ceiling
Thoughts flicker across my mind's eye clouding my world's eye
I imagine the person I want to be
I imagine everything
I even paint the pictures out on the ceiling
I see everything I want to be
I see the truth and the lies
I see how I feel inside

Then the outside world comes crashing in and pulls me back to reality
*To the reality I've always tried to escape endlessly

Marian
I sat down with you
In the coolness of the night air
Watching you sip Dr. Pepper
After a long day's work
I listened to the sounds of summer
Watched a few stars twinkling
In the jet colored sky
We were happily chit-chatting
About this and that
We were all together
Just us three
Oh, those summer evenings
Gone forever
Only shadows remain
Touching my heart

For my dad & mom, Timothy & Hilda!!! ~~~~~<3
I wish I could be a better daughter to you...
I am sure that there're over a million ways
I could be much better than I am!!! ~~~~<3
Hope you enjoy this poem!!! :) ~~~~~<3

*Once, I was a hard sand stone
Neither had I made a tune nor a tone
I had broken after a strong shock wave
From a waterfall, I had fallen into a pothole but could not settle

After I was moving with a long stream as a rolling stone
Now I have no edge but only passing a phase
A few days ago, I discovered myself as a grain of sand
And day by day, I have been drowning beneath the ocean

Reply to the dearest Poet Joe Cole's this week challenge:
this poem is based on life how it has become changed in course of time like a rolling stone to a grain.

To be what they want
Is to win a battle
To be who you are
Is to win a war

My mouth waters,
My fingers ache,
I gasp,
Bite my lip,
My hips buck,
My legs lock,
I am stricken for a moment.

With want,
Need,
Lust,
Hormones,
Fire,
Desire.

I ache,
Beg,
To touch you
With my fingertips
Mouth
Palms
Teeth,

To explore every plane of your
Body
I can get to

Allow me
To savor
Every bit of you

For I will treasure you,
And every way you make me
My body
Feel.
In just one moment
We exchanged a glance
My words stolen, by her
striking beauty, I was struck
left stuttering with a mind
put-puttering and a heart
flut-fluttering

There is magic in her eyes
filled with love,
effervescing skies
of scintillating stars

There is mystery in the heart
of her, like an infinitely
blossoming flower

In life,
It is essential
That you learn
How to be strong enough
To let go;
And wise enough
To wait
For what you deserve.

Summer's warm currents retreat
the advancing brisk amber sunsets.

Submerging the world under
the reign of enduring starry nights.

The maples blush as Autumn whispers
the gentle lullaby of Winter's sweet breath.

Erasing Summer's memory with a crimson brush
preparing the golden landscape's long frigid rest.
