i looked unto
a seplechur sky
deepest dungeon of blue
wreaths of wraiths
beseached the hills
before the day was new

whisps of vapor
reaching up and out
ten thousand ghosts forlorn
all looking for the morning sun
wishing to be reborn

sad and lost
they wailed there
at the closing of the night
plain the pain and deep despair
magical the sight

i felt a tear
roll down my face
they were so pale and wan
i watched the sun rise
o'r the hills
looked back and

they were gone

this poem was inspired by
clouds i saw a few weeks ago
an awesome sight
low hanging and wispy
just like ghosts

I'm only on site a short time
mom is still quite ill

thanks for your prayers

Marie-Niege
to the girl who made the mistake of
standing auburn hair raving in the sun
knee deep in the city street,
lungs roaring and eyes giving,
you can't fight the rain
but you can beat the sun.

Sarah
I keep following
every path
with light at the
end
always reaching
out my limber
hands for
hope's desire.

Why is it,
in happiness,
I only want
another song
to move me
from the
embers, where
a fire
raged &
burned me
through
again,

following a light again,

seeing I exist
in human
form
in every
form that
is and
will be
sleeping in
a fire pit
to stop and
start again

It's moving towards
a light
that does
me in.

A Wegner
Do you see a cocoon
Of a butterfly
That didn't bloom?
Because I can see beyond
most things
and maybe you did too
Subconsciously pervading
A spindle of of thoughts,
Thought up
To hide the ones
That were there
Just bursting to come out
But you left them there,
Underneath
And never let me see
So I'm a butterfly
Caged and waiting
For truth to set me free

Kelley A Vinal
I admit that
Sometimes
I dream of peace
A purple sky
With a bottle of wine
A hazy window
Covered in a maroon cloth
On one side
Raindrops audible
But out of sight
Wooden walls and calm fires
A walk down a creaky hall
To read
I retire

The galaxy is awake
Through the sounds of the thunder

And I'm alive
