Depression is...
Drowning but watching everyone breathe
Playing hide and go seek; never to be found
Acting; but not for a play
Depression is me losing my mind behind closed doors
Depression is digging my grave
I have become depression,
**You're next...

Oh to ride a merry-go-round
with painted winged pigs
and unicorns that move gracefully.

Oh to feel the cool air hug face
and hear the sounds of bells
inside ears to launch dreams.

Oh to sit grounded upon my stead
and go to places in mind
that vibrate magically for peace.

Oh to ride with no inhibitions
to feel the power of senses
as we all gather free
inside my creative mind

Are you the one I promised
When I didn't keep my word?
Are you the voice inside my head
That no one else has heard?
When the sun has slowly risen
And I look into the past
Were you the man on fire
Or the shadow that he cast?

Was I the dragon sleeping
Or the gold on which he slumbered?
Was I the one and only one
Or was I merely numbered?
Is every second precious
When the day was never mine?
Was I ever really real
Or a flaw in your design?

i've tried to escape you,
but you keep coming back.
tormenting me,
playing your little games.

i just want a taste
of real love,
of who you really are.

you hide in the dark,
even in the light.

i don't want this fake love,
i want true, imperfect love.
you can't give me that.
He is two -
Like a vinyl record--
he has an 'A' side
and a 'B' side;
guess which one
I love to listen to,
on repeat,
over,
and over,
again?

He is two -
Like cuttlery--
A knife
and a fork -
one is sharp
and cuts deep,
and one picks me up;
guess which one
I love to spoon?

He is two -
Both,
the sun,
and the moon;
and I,
... well,
I was doomed
from the beginning,
just like a shooting star;
guess which one
I fell for?

I know of a mysterious being,
Dressed in suits, but bestowed with ancient voices.
I know of a magician,
A supernatural astounder, who performs in hearts of men.
.
I know of a trickster,
Whose tricks surpass that of tortoise in folklores
And whose dark long hat is made with anguish.
I know of a sorcerer, who performs in hearts of men.
.
He, who gives without notifying hesitation,
Comes to take with without invitation .
I know of a wizard, giver of caps but taker of heads
And he lives in hearts of men .
.
Of a riddler I know,
Whose riddles creates chaos in minds of scholars.
I know of a man, who visited me not long ago,
A merchant of Venice looking for a land to sow.
On his hand lies arrow and bow
Ready to shoot into the dearest of hearts
Saying "am coming to you, to create my mark "
And he lives only in the shadows

1

sky disintegrating
more wreckage
I can see it coming
after fall

2

displaced
detached
gravity no longer
after fall

3

fluttering flames
orange and yellowing leaves
briefly blaze
beauty disappeared
decaying
after fall

4

nothing remains
we stand unwavering
having seen the kingdoms
reduced to dust
after fall

5

parched soil
repelling rainfall
it runs away
lost to drought
after fall

6

do you really know
what happens
to our souls
the essence
after fall

"after fall" deeper meaning behind the ordinary observations.

I have disabled myself,
Thinking about you.
Forty three self induced bruises
to the head, to the head
Forty five, forty six

I got that vibe,
That feeling from you.
I start my appointment
At eight thirty two,
Thirty three, thirty four.

Forty eight, forty nine.

It is not the cure
That will help this,
But only you.
Thirty five, thirty six.

Fifty two, fifty three.

So I try to get you
Out of my head...

Fifty two, fifty three.
So that I can be free.

I have disabled myself
Thinking about you,
But now that I am free,
I don't know what to do.
