I will tell you;
I love you, I love you, I love you
If the absence of my voice leaves you suffocating
Until I fill the air in your lungs

I will show you;
I love you, I love you, I love you
If every touch of breath from my shaky lips
Sets your heart on fire

I will prove you;
I love you, I love you, I love you
If my warm embrace is what you seek
on dark stormy nights

I will do whatever it takes
As I am mesmerized by
your whispers of sweet nothings,
and your wonderful being

I intend to keep your heart
forever
Simply because;
I love you, I love you, I love you.
We met in back alleys
Trailer trash, slum lords
We laid in the gutter
We crawled on life's floor

I traveled the world
In slumber and sloth
I bled the world dry
And nearly fell off

Treading grey matter
Until the quickening set in
I survived the world
Now a new one begins...

We embrace our flaws
Emotional lesions scar
We confess vaguely
Truths of who we are

An eye watches from deep within
Every thought and curse we send
The mask we choose for each occasion
The thought of witness breeds mutation

The carefree dies
And we become
One with source
When we're done...

Re To 06-17
In that beautiful
Moment of first waking,
When the watery sunlight
Filters through the window
And coaxes my eyes to open,
I can nearly forget
The screams in the middle of the night,
Can nearly forget
The feeling of fresh tears on my cheeks,
Can nearly forget
That your side of the bed lies empty.
Nearly, but not quite.
And the pain of remembering
tears my soul apart.

Time flies,

People cry.

Friends drift apart,

People get broken hearts.

Memories will always stay the same,

Even if people change.
Taste the moon, my friend

listen it will sing at night

a generous portion of love

with dark colored  sun filled glass

causes this somber sad expression

fills this anguish of mine

to melt my tears of hate....

Let me feel the moon in my bones

behind my wounded heart of mine

a ballad, oh moon, you do sing

from the deepest part of my mind

harbors past missed opportunities

of events through my lifetime~

The moon is raining my tears at night

feeling the sadness of many a years

bounds to my very soul

to take my pain of the disturbed peace.....

The world has gone mad

my life is your equalizing song

rain moon rain, with all your might

Let me radiate in your light....

Let's taste the moon tonight...

A droplet in a cave echoes the
impact that I've made;
A life of dribbled
lime it takes
to lay this
path of
mine.

.

As
dark
throbbing
waves wash
out the resonance
I crave - That steady, stoic
drop too forms the biding end atop.
.
Time drips slowly by.

Also, this rhyming business is getting fun!
