nivek
days and years slip through the sand
and the sand is washed twice daily
the Sun comes to visit your world
-light up all the dust flying around
all your yesterday skin shed so easily
the Moon will come unexpectedly
appear faster in the sky as the year turns
I flip the egg timer one more time
the sand never tires of falling
while the sea washes the shore
a tide forever on the turn.
your love for me
was like rain;
sometimes it was raining hard,
sometimes it feels like
the storm was coming,
and sometimes it was raining lightly*

but just like rain
it was just only passing by

lost in the darkness of light
found in the light of darkness
the storm calmed
the flood subsided.

and suddenly i don't know you anymore
crossed my mind
Twist and shift but please refrain
as truth is waste when spoken plain
dispense your wisdom as either or
which evil less do they want more
dripping venom play with hearts
both fear and hate are deadly arts
generic words will sound the best
to form the thought police the rest
help demons in the shadows form
then warn of ever looming storms
divide them by their race and age
soon obsolete becomes their cage
move the pawns yet take no shame
instead take pride you've won the game

Alaska
my eyes are dancing
over the glittering sea
the wind is glancing
the sparkling beach
sand in my eyes
salt in my hair
mountains so high
a whistling in the air
for perfection it strives
and i think
that must be life
