Gidgette
When the sun and the moon
Collide in the sky
When blood drops,
Are the only tears I cry
When snow flakes
Fall in the middle of June
When the sound of silence
Remains the only tune
When the fish sprout wings
And fly from the sea
When the only thing standing
Are petrified trees
When the sky loses its color
And is no longer blue
That, my sweet, is when
I'll stop loving you

Writing a poem is not my obligation,
But it's a command of my heart that full of emotion.

Corvus
Bed sheets become red sheets,
Pillows becomes tear catchers,
No dream catchers here because only nightmares live,
Feasting on wakeful exhaustion.
Deflated bouncy castles for intestines,
White blood cells searching frantically in enclosed darkness.
Enemy invaders seeping into blood, bone and muscle
As the warriors remain trapped in sticky villi.
Drug dependency is a permanent solution
And overdosing is a consistent caregiver for sleep.
Nausea is a rebellious, suicidal last stand
To go down with the invaders as they're taken out.
A seven year war fought inside your body
With no visible battle lines drawn is lonely.
My skin is pockmarked, riddled with the craters of bombs
Fired from all sides with no mercy for the land.
Sometimes I can't help but wonder what'll **** me first:
The invaders or my body's own troops.
Probably the crappiest thing I've ever written, but it was written while I was exhausted, overdosing on medication and in agony, so it's pretty accurate in its insight.
here lies the bones of a
copyist
on his tomb engraved the
plagiarist
of this trade he made quite a
fist
being the consummate repeat
recidivist

a fellow who stole other's
verse
his thievery of a terrible
curse
no contrition didst he
imburse
for taking from their word
purse

of pirating and pilfering
this memorial stone
openly declares
a plundering mortal
unapologetic of his
so called wares
you and i have been the moon and sea
clouds and trees
never and infinity

we haveĀ been earth and sky
day and night
from the darkness comes your light

it's in your sea salt tears
my stardust air
you and i are everywhere

we shall meet again
death is not the end
in another life
our story begins

Lady Bird
he is so cold hearted
stealing her sweetness
making her tears fall hard
like hail in an ice storm
Iike cigar smoke he envelopes
her air stealing her breath
a bad habit she can't break
she curve around him
like a beautiful harp
while he plays that song
that breaks her heart
