Ashes to ashes and dust to dust
Call this assurance if you must;
But when it's time to say Farewell
To one you love, it's just plain hell.

There are no words, no healing balm,
To fill the void, to ease the calm;
And not a thing that one can say
Will drive the quick hot tears away.

We look upon the empty chair
And seek the one no longer there;
And so heartbreaking is the pain
We question if we'll meet again.

How grim indeed, if death should be
The Bitter End--- Eternity;
Just some vague dream conceived by Man
And not a part of any plan.

But God has taken such great care
To note the sparrow in the air;
His Love alone can cover all
And Mark a simple Sparrows' fall.

And if he cares for the birds that fly,
then he must hear My Anguished cry;
"Dear God, I yield my grief to Thee
For Thou alone can comfort me."
To Everyone who is struggling with Grief

My mind is so healthy
But my soul is so sick
The goal to be wealthy
Has made my life too quick

In the blink of an eye
It could all be gone
Now, as much as I try
Still, at every dawn

I find myself facing
Another day
This world is chasing
Another way

What this is
I do not know
What this is
I can only hope

Will let my self and soul
Be at peace as one
I know Love is the goal
Let the deed be done

Let us work for the sake
Of our worldly duty
Not again will they take
Away worldly beauty

Money is
The gift and the curse
Things are bad
But they could be worse

Soon, all will have
A good life chance
Money is money
Snap out of the trance

Our souls are sick
Of stress over income
They’ve lost so much
It’s time that they win some

I read an interesting theory by philosopher William James which states that the world is split into two groups of people, the "Healthy Minded" and the "Sick Souls".  That inspired this piece.

In my soul where He resides
In my soul is where He hides
Undetected by human eyes
Unprotected from human cries

He hears the world full of pain
And He tells me how to stay sane
Telling me to take my time
No need for a life of crime

Don’t let money mislead you
Then people will mistreat you
And act as if you don’t belong
So just let knowledge make you strong

No need for riches, you will gain wealth
Without sacrificing your mental health
When all is well with your soul
I will help you meet your goal

For this, I thank Him every day
Now that He has shown the True way
I find I’m living life to learn
Never knowing where life will turn

With Him there only is progressing
Where He leads, I am left guessing
And so you see, that’s just the thing
It’s up to Him, because He is King

People often ask me why I am a Christian. Because I am very political and progressive in my politics, I run into a lot of atheists.
This piece basically sums up why I am a Christian.

You see me in front of you
Yet, you can tell I’m not there
Please don’t take any offense
Trust, it’s not that I don’t care

It’s just this outside world
Is so much for me to take
And so this inside world
Helps me give my soul a break

It may sound crazy, I know
But I am far from insane
If you want I can show you
The world inside your brain

All it takes is some focus
While accepting the soul
Then you slowly take notice
And live up to your role

One day the world will be on this level
Looks like it can’t be too long
Before we have to rise above the devil
But, until then, I am GONE

When the stars are aligned
The soul is not confined
To the shell it was born
From the sky it was torn

It now longs to return
After the earthly burn
Is felt to its core
It can bear no more

It devises a plan
To outsmart the dumb man
It retreats to the conscience
To relieve all the nonsense

Caused by man’s evil wants
Now, the whole world taunts
The soul to leave the mind
It is time to rewind

Back to the time of the stars
Back to the time before cars
When Humanity met all its needs
But, now we watch as the beast feeds

It feeds upon our greed
And we let it succeed
I will not dwell on what caused it
Instead, my soul will go cosmic~

We've all got stardust in our bones ~

Nature, I beg Her to take Her course
The only true sustaining life force
Apparently we have evolved too much
Seems we no longer respect Her as such

I can feel Her turning up the heat
Counting the days to bitter defeat
Worst part is, we know what we have done
Yet we continue to have our fun

The few that created a plan of action
Receive little political attraction
Forget the poor; there is no money for Earth!
Do people really wonder what She is worth??

If so, this world really is disgusting
Who are these leaders that we are entrusting?
They do not think of the future generations
Who will have to live through all their complications

This beautiful land that we all adore
Is the only life they cannot ignore
Their blissful ignorance will create their demise
Mother Earth warns us every time She CRIES!
