Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This becomes more evident as we grow older. What we once may have thought was a work of art, now because of age has fallen apart. When we started out we might have looked like a Michelangelo, but in the end I fear that we shall all become Picasso's.

James wrote this little rhyme for me. And I had to share!
Thank you, James!

Intense burning
              yearning
Going through
stratosphere
All I want is a kiss
to reminisce
Your sweet love to me
**sweet love

though my words are few
they mean everything
from me
to you
~~~
*You made the dark veil
around my heart
open and burst with love
when you held my scars
and declared them beauty
//On love//
I recently met an amazing person on here who I grew close with. They make me happy for the first time in a long, long time. Totally disarmed me. So I dedicate this to my beautiful friend. You know who you are.
there's a metaphor about
    finding something you weren't looking for
  an unexpected treasure,
       & you were that treasure
I wasn't looking for;
   like a pearl on the beach
or a star in the sky
       I got to graze you with my fingertips;
our lips have never met
    but you consume my every thought
unfold every layer of my heart,
        disarm me
you laid your heart on mine;
     so much love I want to give
even if there's a wait,
      it's worth the wait;
reflected in our eyes when they meet,
          burning candlelight,
    sunset through the window,
how I want you
    need you
  love you
on whatever is handy
     I will write...
:) :) :)
Move on
And just live
