I can feel you in the air today.

The silence blows through the rifts in my heart.

A gorge eroded from the ache
Of emptiness.
I miss you too.

Crimson red roses
Arresting the sweet Fragrance
Antique silver bowl
Inspired by
a flower arrangement in an antique silver bowl, embossed and carved in Burmese  mythological art

This was supposed to be a haiku, I usually never tag them, the second line was short of one syllable, added the word ‘sweet’
Thank you so much, Carmen Jane, for bringing it to my notice and helping me correct my mistake :))

I don't know what it is about me,
I must look like a wild animal,
Because these men think they can tame me.

I am not a fire you need to put out.
I am not the mustang you need to corral.
I can't be ridden, I can't be roped in.

Love me free or let me be.

nothing can hold me back now,
neither any luxury,
nor any love,
neither any goal,
nor any determination,
don't tell me now,
that you will be there for me,
when i have stood alone,
in the breathtaking storms,
watching my sail,
being blown away,
don't tell me you love me,
when i know you don't,
don't tell me it's all gonna be better,
when i already know,
you will always be you,
and i'll a;ways be me.........

The water flows free
and caresses the landscape - -
winter comes along.
The river is now frozen
And what was is gone away

I fashioned it
From wood and clay
With gold and rubies
Did I inlay
That image crude
So I could pray
To something I could see

The tool I made
Did serve me well
And in return
I knelt and fell
Down to my knees
At sounded bell
That I might repay

Now in my age
I fashion again
A deeper image
Than that of men
Inlaid with gold
As it was back then
An image of myself

Though now no longer mute
My will is absolute
