Home is the place where all hearts turn
When Christmas comes again

The place that draws you through the fog
The snow the wind and rain

To take your place beside the fire
Wherever it may be

And hope for peace, and good cheer
And gay festivity

Year by year the same old words
Of greetings we repeat

But never seem to tire
When friends and families meet

So rejoice right through to Christmas night
And  over the world's dark shadows
Cast some some heavenly light

Do you want me baby
as much as I want you?
Do you want to hold me
as much as I want to hold you?
Do you want to kiss me
as much as I want to kiss you?

Do you want to stay alone
as much as I don't?

Are you coming closer
or are you running away?

Do you want me baby
as much as I want you?

I could feel love
coming along
as soon as I gave it up

Unexpected plans

I wonder what you're doing
and does it mean a thing

I know I'm trying to deliver
what ever it is you need

Do you want this as much
as I want to give it to you?

Is this your desire?

Or is this the creepy
part of the show?

I'm innocent
my feelings are genuine
I don't ever want to intrude

But you're sending me
mixed messages
I'm trying to figure it out

So I thought I'd ask you

Do you want me baby
as much as I want you?
A southbound 'Steel Thoroughbred' on the move again
Machinery howls in pain , echoing forever on a blustery
night along the Rico plain
I'm hearing engineers tales , the colorful stories of
the brakeman , the call of the conductor at small town stations* ..

Vacancies are only temporary
Moments of emptiness where bodies rest elsewhere
Though they always buzz
In neon midnights
Next to gutters, alleys and parking lots
The distance between us
Breaks in my gut

BUTTERFLY
          A dangerous thing.
          Inspirations' fragile wings.
          Metamorphoses.

BARRIER REEF
           Great walls dividing.
Vast cold deeps from Summer seas.
           "Hail Metropolis!"

LOTUS FLOWER
          Morning--Star-burst--bloom.
          Floral crown on tranquil lake.
          She walks on water.

SEAHORSE
          Pregnant father sways
          Rocking chair to Oceans' gait.
          Champions patience's race.

BOMBYX MORI
          White Mulberry leaves,
          Veins of Univoltine wine.
          Silk, worm's waste of time.

ORCHID
          Soft petals open.
          Easy like wild poetry.
          Medicinal muse.

LAVENDER
          How like a feather
          Dancing meadows' Royal hue.
          Perfumes the twilight.

OWL (Query)
          "Who?" Rather than tweet
In the dark keenly can see
          All her nameless prey.

DEATH VALLEY
          Akimbo cacti
          Off the scenic highway road
          Flail in Hell's hot suns.

TSUNAMI
          Deaths' devastation.
          Chaos drowns all the petty
          Wars and last concerns.

COMMUNING
          These very mornings
I awe as the blue ocean drinks
          The sky bleeding gold.

DINOSAUR
          All you have are bones.
Our flesh once Giants : lies, dust.
          My feelings extinct.

SUNFLOWER
          A golden pinwheel.
Tall and proud, the face of day,
          Burns bright love's bounty.

POPPY
         Her rouge a deep dark
         pharmaceutical Red to
         kiss your pain away.

THE SWALLOW*
         Rain's graceful feathers.
         The Spring's swift wisps' arriving
         Two Tailed Brothers' Breeze.

          But from her kiss--sublime songs
          True Love's red flower.

AGUA

          'Cuz Life drinks for free.

IN SPRING
           Orange breasted plume.
A Robin bird trills and swirls.
           Seasoning her nest.

ASPHODEL SNOW
            Gossamer winter.
            The fractal window panes sigh
            white breath of flowers.

LIGHT-YEARS
             Space is Time is Light
             it's speed can measure eons'
             infinite distance.
It was more than love -
A love beyond limits...
They were the first to discover
This newfound emotion,

It wasn't from this world,
It was divine - It must have fallen
From the heavens
When the skies opened;
There must have been
A titanic galactic explosion.

This newfound emotion
Rained down upon them,
That very first night
That their eyes met,
As they both gazed up
To the brilliant pure-white stars,

They were pulled together
By a magnetic energy,
They saw more than love light-up
In each other's eyes -
This was when
Their two worlds collided;
This was when
Venus fell for Mars.

It sings to me
          a pretty lullaby.
In the silent hour...
          ...j'entend ton coeur.

traces of being
.
I cradle my head
in my palms

There's an inerasable vision
of hearts and bones
inwoven in a spider web

Untied forget-me-nots
writhing disentanglement

A collage of all the dead roses ,
tawny petals bestrewn across
a fallow frozen mind-scape ;

hidden behind eye-lid's
hesitantly arising curtain

just like a noir movie screen

I saw love disfigure me
