If there were no edge,
Would you follow me in-
To oblivion?

fine.
i'll open me up.
take a glimpse before the doors close.
fear not if you did not make it,
come back...leave a note
there's nothing here to be sold.
only sights to behold.
stories written on walls
now smeared.
dead and gone,
became memories not fond enough to be sung.
these memories
stanzas
that frequently get out of hand.
as I build these castles on dry sand
knowing they'll slip away.
only when time has her say.
this I rely on to keep forgotten memories away.
so just know when you come,
prepare for pure bliss.
love is abundant
and this place you will miss.
your mind will remenise
on how to obtain
happiness just like this.

A deeper inquiry
Is a priority
To catch
And identify
The complexities
   Of our reality...

Pay attention
To the nuances
Perhaps keep a tally
Apples and oranges
Are far from
    Jams and jellies...

Narrow views
Are often
Ordinary
Surely
We are more
   Than extraordinary ...

Try to keep
In mind
There must
Be more
To all this
Hocus Pocus
Then simply
What's literately
In our focus
...

She watched
My leaves
as they fell

one
by
one

And whispered

"I love autumn"

Love my bark just as my flowers

Cause it gets cold sometimes and I need you to still look at the dead me and believe there's some sort of life within

Be patient.

See that strength lies not in my leaves and petals
But in my cracks

Be kind.

When I open parts of me unseen
And exposed are my rings
That have survived fire and storm
Run your fingers through them
Bare the splinters i don't mean to hurt with

Be understanding.

Whisper louder than the wind that shook away parts of me
And make me feel whole as I am

Be love.
