I have loved you for lifetimes and more -
we have been through many incarnations,
traveled many timelines and shed many
sacrificial tears and unnecessary pretense.
You have bore your soul in mine,
entwined our fates in loving motions,
and sealed our future in simple kisses.

I love you through realms of dreams
and into stark rains of reality,
through all that is to come
and all that is before,
and I know you love me
the same.

Always in the same dream,
With an unfamiliar face,
In a frozen time,
I faced you.
This would be a dream forever?
I was scared.

But when I open my eyes,
It's you.
My eyes only look at you,
I can not close them,
My love,
This is our love story,
I can not hide.

A dream, crucified my life;
Walked on an empty street,
Failing, with castle of cards;
Wounded my life hard.

It’s bitter sweet symphony;
Shook with different places,
Mixing, tunes of flavour;
Made impure love together.

Destiny never pursued my feet;
Run with half empty glass;
Going, on Boulevard Street;
Cared nevertheless, misfortune.

A thought, broke my heart;
Tore my parents’ willing,
Helping, way of river of grief;
Saw two sides of coin.

Future will show new world;
Ticking with clock hand,
Coming out, from horrible train;
Will beneath my next fortnight.

You whisper to me so elegantly
As you kiss my forehead
My head on your chest
Falling asleep
To the rhythm of your heartbeat
"Sweet dreams, my darling..."

As our heavy heads hit the pillow
We each drift into our own state
Of unconsciousness

* * *

4,728 miles from each other
Time zones which feel as if
We are light years apart
You are falling asleep,
As I am wide awake;
Daydreaming

The only thing that you can say
Through the electric current is:

"I will see you in my dreams, my darling..."
long distance

I am a bad dream living in your nightmares

It seems like a real dream
often better than reality
We wake up to a dreary world
Let's dream on

Nightmares not good
but life can be hell on earth

Between us lies
an eternity
yet I breathe your air,
an eternity between
but I felt it again!
the thrill, the high when i'd caress your hair..

that same glimmer in your eyes,
that same stare,

a wiser embrace
a wrinkle here and there,
your countenance still other-worldly
and fair.

an eternity between us,
but you broke the spell!
still together..
and no one can tell
the most vivid dream to date that I have had of my beloved.. who left this realm 14 years ago. age 26. He spent the whole night with me. it was a real visit and i woke up feeling he was with me ..yet so far away

Last night once more
I ventured beyond the pale
To find Nanci Griffith
Awaiting me there
She's pushing E's
On her drum n' bass knees
Pleading with me please
To be the last
of the true believers
But I can't and yet I can
Feel her watching over me
From a distance
She is just another no one
That's been sent to deceive
Yet another love for sale
Beyond this pale

So I move on at least
To my fourteen year old self
Weak arms and weaker will
Holding back a door
All in vain
As the screams grow
The knives and living dead flow
My father at the kitchen table
Silver bangle adorns his strength
He laughs at his son
How could it come to this?
A useless seed born with
a breathless kiss
Leave it to me comes his hiss
Tough love is for sale
Beyond this pale

To a foreign city
With the few friends I've left
It is anxiety and fear
That begin to whisper in my ear
You do not belong
You should never have come here
As the skies start to tear
Separation comes next
The rain empties the nest
Two by two, one by one
Friends and companions
To this city are gone
Desolate in a storm
Lies a desperate man
With a lonely love for sale
Beyond this pale

Tonight once more
I shall venture again for sure
As I pray to the gods
That I will not see you there
For my ecstasy would dissolve
At the closing of a door
As you walk out on me
Towards a rank only you see
That last cab to set you free
So tonight do not appear
Nor take to their stand
To settle their score
Let them be the ones
To finally understand
True love is not for sale
Beyond the pale
And oh my dreams
It's never quite as it seems
'Cause you're a dream to me
Dream to me
